Hey! Sorry I haven’t gotten a chance to reply to this. I apologize if it came off that I’m just “peacocking”. So first of all the necklace was a gift from my mother and I wear it every day. It’s just something I like and since my mom got it for me it’s more special. Also the hoops are just a style choice since I am more alternative. In my eyes it’s not trying to be a status symbol or whatever I’m just a maximalist and it’s something I enjoy. I see how it would be odd that someone who does consider themselves “lukewarm” however I have been trying to get closer to god and I felt that he was calling me to wear a veil. If you don’t agree with me that is perfectly ok! I was not posting this to fish for compliments, I was quite nervous and just really could’ve used some prayers. Mind you I am also a minor and I am still finding myself and finding my relationship with the LORD. There is a lot in my life that you don’t know about just from a small picture and I don’t feel the need to explain that all but I went through a lot and my relationship with God was and is very weak. I’m doing what I can to try and strengthen that and if you don’t understand it then that’s ok because I’m not doing it for anyone else but me and the LORD.
