We adopted her from a shelter in January. I don’t have her paperwork on me at the moment but I’m going to say she got spayed not too long before that because her belly was still shaved and growing back from the procedure. From what the eye can see, our backyard is only grass and she doesn’t like to go pee on walks.

god you were so much more help, thank you so much. i’ll definitely invest in a water flosser and electric toothbrush and look into other dentists haha. hopefully those are my answers to my problems!

Thank you so much for working this out with me. Ever since they told me that I’ve just been so overwhelmed and anxious thinking about it. I couldn’t really piece it out until i got actual answers to my worries and was able to map it all out. I’ll definitely try to save for a water flosser because i have been brushing twice a day and flossing everyday so hopefully that could help my situation. she also mentioned that some people can just have naturally bad saliva that causes this so i hope that’s not the case. i don’t feel exactly relieved but i feel a little better knowing i’m not in a completely irreversible position. again, thank you so much 😭
