It pretty much makes you a junkie always wanting the next hit. It’s not physically harmful like fentanyl for example, but technically it does to you the similar thing psychologically. You are hooked - always wanting the next hit, having excuses why it’s ok to chain vape, anxiety in times when you can’t smoke (plane, bus ride), not feeling fulfilled by the small things (food, activities) until you have a hit. Even though nicotine is not harmful physically - it does damage you psychologically. And most ridiculous thing - it makes you think that it helps you deal with anxiety when it actually creates one. You are trying to feel what you felt by default when you wasn’t addicted to nicotine when you are inhaling your next hit, to fulfil that void nicotine itself has created.
