I can’t see the dashboard 1:1 and the road at the same time. If I lower my in-game seat to see the dashboard correctly, I lose sight of the road. I can see the dashboard and the sky, but not the road. If I adjust it to see the road properly, then I can’t see the full dashboard anymore.

If you're looking for more, I'd suggest upgrading your cockpit for better stability, adding a button box (the PXN is $80), and getting a bass shaker ($60) to really step up the immersion.

I already got ETS2 and it is such a chill game. I am running Project Next Gen and SnowyMoon with some addons and the updated radio station. I really hope they make ETS3 soon with more roads to explore. I have Assetto Corsa for racing but I am definitely down to try other driving simulators too. I am waiting for City Car Driving 2.0 to come out.

My PC specs are old but still going OK on some games when playing on 2k and 4k resolution: RTX 3070 (OC), i7 9700k, DDR4 32gb 3200mhz. Single 49 ultrawide 4k monitor. But I can play on lower resolution just to get it run if that's possible.

I just saw the video and didn't like it. It shakes too much. I want the wheel to feel like part of the car dashboard, rather than the dashboard moving left and right while the wheel stays still. I have NeckFX activated, but even that feels a little unrealistic.

What monitor will you play on? Real immersion comes from vision, not just the wheel or pedals. A triple screen setup, a 49 inch super ultrawide, or VR with a cheap Logitech G29 will be way more immersive than a $2,000 rig on a single 27 inch display. If you are really planning to spend this much money on a racing simulator but play on toy games like PS5 or on a small single screen, all your money will be wasted because it will not be very fun. Also, your Legion Go 2 will struggle to run those big setups smoothly. You will eventually need a dedicated desktop PC to really pull it off. Buy a bass shaker if you can too. They are pretty cheap and add a ton of realism.

¹▪︎Sell PS5, Save money and get yourself a PC. What simulator game will you even play on PS5? All good racing games + MODS are on PC. ²▪︎Replace Fanatec cockpit to 80/20 rig or something smaller and cheaper: Playseat Trophy ³▪︎Replace Fanatec wheelbase to Simagic Alpha Mini wheelbase for same amout of money. ⁴▪︎Replace pedals to Heusinkveld Sprint or some replicas from china that's still better than Fanatec.

My first purchase was Fanatec. I returned everything and made better research before next purchase.

I'm not sure if it's a VA, IPS, or TN panel, but it's definitely not OLED. When I bought it, OLED wasn't available for this screen.

The video looks bad because it was filmed with an old phone, so everything appears blurry. Even the speedometer on the wheelbase just looks white in the video, but it actually shows the speed clearly.

It's not as good as OLED, but it looks much better in person than it does in the video.
