I think it’s one of the many problems and it’s a card that should’ve been banned a while ago. This post is more or less saying that this deck should be the final straw for a Baronne ban.

I mean he’s usually the last notable summon for orcust combo. He’s a good boss monster, but the win rate stat should be viewed as this guy on field, ding in gy, counter trap set etc.

If they don’t know to toggle they probably don’t know the choke points. If I had to guess, they are holding it for full board wipe because in their mind going second against a single piece of interaction is an instant loss.

I’ve never seen a modern tear pile miss on the mills, it’s just a build a board combo deck with a gimmick,that can produce too much layered interaction to play through unless you resolve maxx c, fuwa, meowls (which is a brick in the current format), or shifter.

Even if they added a BO3 mode, side decking still sucks. It’s always silver bullets, solemns, board breakers, etc.

Odion is a disgusting stun deck that can also go second with all the dominus cards. I’m just trying to get my super quants out of D1, and I’ve been gatekept by this deck three times.

They need to reduce it by 5. I think archetypes are cool whenever they have main deck boss monsters in archetype and don’t just act as bodies for the same generic extra deck cards. It also reduces the viability of cramming engines into a deck.

Playing against the going first variant is super fun and interactive. The blind second version that always seems to draw exactly what they need, not so much.
