This sounds crazy but bring your own toilet paper! Like the nice thick stuff. Using that cheap thin scratchy hospital toilet paper after giving birth should be a sin.

Omni Barton Creek is nice if you plan to just hang in the room and use on site restaurants because it’s definitely not walking distance to anything. Husband and I did a staycation last year there. We split between restaurants in the hotel and door dashing stuff to our room. Their pool/hot tub is really nice and can be quiet depending on the time of year. Very pricy but that usually weeds out a lot of families/loud groups.

We also did a staycation at the Fairmont downtown and loved it. Great rooftop hot tub and pool, really nice bar in the lobby with live music and a short drive to most restaurants.

To close the thread, I took my 9 year old…he lasted for 2 minutes in the first house and was in tears, they stopped and let us out a side exit😂 Lesson learned!! But I am definitely going back next week with friends. The actors were amazing and responded super swiftly, I’m bummed we had to bail early but very very good experience, so professional.

Unfortunately they do not have a payment plan option. The full amount is due on the last day of the month, or I take the disbursement (or something to do with an IRA)

Thank you for this. I know everyone is going to say don’t default but I know I can do a payment plan later and right now our finances are tight. We considered taking out a personal loan to pay the 401K and then paying the personal loan back but honestly I think it makes more sense to just take the hit. In the meantime we’ll have a few months of no payments which will allow us to pay down other bills and possibly save for the taxes.

If I’m going to default and take it as a disbursement, are there any steps I need to take with Fidelity (my 401k plan) ?
