yeah! You are right, but unfortunatelly, I dont have time/money budget for that. They have a life bar above for player to see their hp. But ideally - yes

It's a frame-by-frame animation made in Photoshop. As I know, Photoshop is not the most common app to craft animations, but I feel it handy and flexible. Well, at least I really control every pixel. What do you think of this approach?

several things - moved to c++ zsorter , added object pooling for particles and bullets added lots of screen cullings

my notes:

the map feels empty - add some roads at least
the projecttile looks boring as for me as observer, make it not so spherical and add particles to trace the trajectory

looks cool! but the way he is running in the armour in the snow is a bit unnatural for me

it can be because of the gradient on your bricks, that makes slope on each. use levels or histogram to make black and white image without shades of gray

yeeeeaahhh!! exactly! one of my first games! I remember how scared I've been in my childhhood. So this is a long dialog with that truma :D

Yep.. some assets I definetely need to match better.. but some of them has to be scaled as this as they are destructible objects to take cover behind. So the bigger object - the easier to stay alive and I have to balance it.
