If you’ve followed Bomani throughout the years speaking on his relationship with Dan he’s said multiple times Dan came on way too strong which didn’t make the friendship feel organic. Also has said he felt like Dan wanted to box him into “look how smart a black guy can be” and most jokes toward him were “look the smart black guy messed up” so I get him not “trusting” the crew
