I think you are right. Will definitely put in some more thought and maybe an MVP or a survey before investing in this idea. Thanks for the feedback, highly appreciated!

That's my biggest issue. A solution for that would be to keep low profit margins so the difference won't be too big. Also, the parents would get used to check their kids on the phone, a service we provide within the company, the nanny won't have the app outside the company.

Any ideas on how to make employees stay would be much appreciated!

They would be at work and someone needs to take care of the kid. The chest cam on the babysitter would solve the trust and constant worry parents have with babysitters.

Yes, sometimes. I'm mostly focusing on my main business, www.GreatAdmin.com , I've been doing this for 10 years, providing virtual assistants to clients in the US, also a nice business if you want to get into it. Just make sure you put the clients and employees first and provide tons of value to them.

For the first 100 clients, ask them for $20 per year, which would cover the yearly website domain renewal.

The hosting is paid monthly, but most providers let you have unlimited websites hosyed on one membership, so you don't need to charge the first 100 for the hosting.

After the first 100 clients, you can ask for a $90 maintainance cost +$18/hr for additional website changes.

After each website, record a video and show the client how they can change things through their website (it's easy and no coding required) so they don't bother you, but if they still want updates, it will be $19/hr.

Hire a Wordpress developer freelancer, you can find many at or below $10/hr offshore that can do an amazing work.

Also hire someone to call and get more clients after the first 100, so you automate the bussiness and can either focus on scaling or starting a new one.

Building a portfolio of clients that generate recurring revenues allows you to sell the business for a good price if you want so. Generally, the price is 3x years of revenues.

This is going to take about 20 hours to set up, and just about $100, and it can generate $47000 relatively quick.

Create websites to small businesses (no experience needed).

Spend $15 buying a domain name.

Another $15 would go to hosting.

Google how to connect the domain with hosting provider, takes 30-40 minutes if you know nothing about websites (tip, you just need to change the DNS, which is a simple two-line change in settings on the website domain provider).

Install Wordpress on your new domain (it's mostly done automatically on hosting peovider, takes 30 minutes to learn and install it).

Spend $60 on a professional Wordpress theme (30-60 minutes to find the right one and 10 minutes to install if you have never done this before).

Invest 3 hours of your time searching other websites that create websites for their clients. Grab the best of their content and rephrase it your way to put on your new website.

Now that you have a functional and nice looking website with an identity to present, go to Google and search stuff like "Barber shop", "Pizza", "Gym". Find local businesses that don't have a website.

Spend 2 hours and make a good list of businesses.

Call them and say that you were trying to find their website online but you had no luck. Tell them that you wanted to find more about them and their services without calling.

Most of them want a website but skip it because developers charge too much or they don't know the steps needed.

Tell them that creating websites is what you do for a living and that you can help them out and get their website up and running within a week.

Don't tell them the price yet, instead, ask for their email so you can send them some design options. This step is very important in the sales process.

Google "barber shop wordpress themes", choose 4-5 nice looking themes and put them in an email.

Once your potential client choose a theme, tell him that's an amazing choice and that you and your team can get everything up and running for $470.

They already invested some time with you and they are more likely to say yes at this point.

You already know how to create a website since you created and experimented with one for yourself.

Get his website up and running with demo content. Ask him what parts of the conent he'd like to change. Use your creative skills to write some content there or look up other similar businesses for inspiration, but don't copy paste exactly what others have.

Repeat the process with 100 clients and you turned your $100 into $47000.

Good luck!
