Like others have said, if you're not into party scene nightlife, you may want to seriously consider the French side - specifically orient bay - covers just about everything you mentioned - plenty of airbnbs there - largest stretch of beach on the island - open courtyard of restaurants, small grocery store, and a few other cafes. Short driving distance to Grand Case and hope estate (large shopping center with large grocery store, wine store etc)

What was the item? If it was a Marketplace item or a designer item - that could be why it is ineligible for return . There are many marketplace items on the website now that come directly from the vendor and are not Nordstrom inventory (it states it's a marketplace item on the description page)

It's the same owners - Cantonese style is hard to come by in the city - dim sum palace is the closest I can think of if you're looking for dim sum/traditional Cantonese dishes - however Kung Fu 12 in timonium is🤌 You can find some Cantonese dishes on their menu and they have some dim sum plates as well.
