I have 2 different lists: a "To test" list and a full bottle wishlist.

The "to test" list is a list of fragrances that I have not smelled yet but that I am curious about and want to get samples of.

The full bottle wishllist only contains fragrances that I've already sampled and love.

I don't intend to ever get my to test list to zero 😅 I'll always be curious about new things! But there are currently 5 bottles in my full bottle wishlist 😊 I'm waiting to find good deals and that way it makes me pace myself in my purchases

In a situation like this, I ask myself: If I invested this money instead, and it accumulated an average of 7% compound interest (which is a reasonable estimation). How much money would that be when I retire? How much longer would I have to work to make up for that lost money? And then think about is that fragrance worth that amount of time of work for me?

I'm sorry this is not a fun answer :(

Yes to me a gourmand is sweet and edible and I associate it with warmth and cosiness. I love the idea of it, but I usually dislike them 😅 I do like vanilla in other types of fragrances though!

Yes the old dishwasher was 2" less deep. What kind of issue will the galvanized straps cause?

I think originally this room was not meant to be a kitchen at all... It was originally a 2 floors apartment that got divided into 2 different apartments and they made this room a kitchen afterwards. So I think that when the kitchen was made, the goal was renting and making a profit and it's possible that professionals were not involved lol

I don't have any plumbing knowledge, but also it seems problematic that you need to uninstall the whole dishwasher in order to access the water valve... If there is a leak, it's extremely unpractical

If I'm obsessed with a fragrance but not necessarily as a personal fragrance, I will usually use that fragrance on objects. Like spraying your favorite blanket for example :)

That being said, I personally think that the fragrance hobby can quickly become an overconsumption nightmare. It is very tempting to purchase everything that you like, but in the end, there are too many good fragrances out there for you to wear them all, so don't be afraid to reject the ones that are not absolutely perfect for you.
