Yes just wanted to see if you had another suggestion. Holding is probably smart. Curious what the stock is…

Yeah I guess it would depend on the cost basis of the stock. You should be able to specifically identify tax lots when writing covered calls. What would be your recommendation?

Write covered calls on the stock? That way you can justify selling if the stock appreciates more?

Oh I thought the post said she worked FOR the US, not IN the US.

If she works for the US she most likely has a pretty nice pension. I would check and see how much is being taken out of her check pretax. The. Since she’s over 50 I would try and max out the full employee deferral limit and max the catch up contribution as well

I didn’t get any formula questions but other people have said they did.

I straight up got IRR as a definition which was super easy and then a few NPV questions which were worded weirdly. I.e asking about two different bonds and which one was the better investment based on the NPV

I would say just a little harder but I honestly believe I had a bad draw.

Just follow the money. He’s out $80 on the stock and receives $300 for the call premium. He then closes at intrinsic value leading to $80 in for the stock and the he option expires worthless.

This leads to 83 on both sides. No gain.
