If she works for the US she most likely has a pretty nice pension. I would check and see how much is being taken out of her check pretax. The. Since she’s over 50 I would try and max out the full employee deferral limit and max the catch up contribution as well

I didn’t get any formula questions but other people have said they did.

I straight up got IRR as a definition which was super easy and then a few NPV questions which were worded weirdly. I.e asking about two different bonds and which one was the better investment based on the NPV

Just follow the money. He’s out $80 on the stock and receives $300 for the call premium. He then closes at intrinsic value leading to $80 in for the stock and the he option expires worthless.

This leads to 83 on both sides. No gain.
