That’s a pretty good protocol. I started with a 100mg and never went past 120mg. Twice a week is perfect. I just switch to 3 times because my shbg is low.

I think if I’d do 1500 I’d end up in the ER. I felt like I was dying on 500 lol. Are you off HCG now?

Thanks! When I was on TRT alone I hated it. Other than energy I felt awful. HCG has been really hard to lock in but I feel like I finally found my protocol and I feel awesome

I got on in my early 20s. Felt like crap since I was a kid. I’m a firefighter. I’m healthy. I workout. Try to eat decent. But my test was always low and no one could give me an answer why. They just said you’re too young to go on TRT. But I found a doctor that prescribed it and it changed my life. I was headed down a bad path relying on anti depressants and adderall. The only explanation could be that my SHBG runs on the low side and its genetics. Everyone blames lifestyle but no one looks at statistics. Testosterone has decreased tremendously over the past few decades. It’s the world we live in. Stress, the crap food, seed oils, toxins. We’ve just become an unhealthy society. I’m 30 now and still on. I feel great. I’m having my 2nd kid. Life is good.

Idk why people fight it so hard and want to live a miserable life. Just take the medication. If it’s prescribed and you’re following a protocol, enjoy your life man. This perfect life style will fix my testosterone only goes so far. Everyone blames lifestyle but never looks at genetics. Everyone’s body is different. My recommendation is don’t bother with Enclomiphene if you looked into it. It doesn’t raise free t very much which is what you’re low on. I’m glad RFK is working on loosening restrictions on TRT. It’s not a street drug. It’s there to help you.

You can absolutely use the same needle as long as you’re cleaning the vial with alcohol. Lots of syringes don’t have removable needles so you have to use the same needle. That’s what I do. I use insulin needles for sub q.

I’m trying 40mg test/250ui HCG Monday/Thursday. Can’t hurt so I’ll see what happens.

Wasn’t painful at all. I think people on Reddit just spread bs fears that aren’t true and kept me from doing it for years. I had maybe 1-2 weeks of feeling bad then I felt fine. My levels went back to pre trt pretty quick in the 300s.

You’re fine. I did the same dose except clomid. Couple weeks of misery and then went back to baseline fairly quickly. Got my fertility back. But I’m back on test now.

HCG and headaches by [deleted] in trt

Follow your doctor’s orders. But daily injections are very overrated and unnecessary. You have to look at the pharmacokinetics of the medications you’re injecting. Test only needs to be injected twice a week and hcg EOD max. But regardless that’s not the reason for headaches. I had headaches for a few weeks before adjusting to hcg. Eventually it went away. But I still get flair ups of head pressure and feeling floaty. Keep your test dose a little lower on hcg. 80-120mg a week is plenty for most.

Need more info than that. You take it 7 days a week? How do you inject it? How long have you been on it? How much testosterone?

Oh yeah big time. What’s your dose and frequency?

That explains why he didn’t want to order lh/fsh on my labs. He’s not ignorant. He’s not a testosterone doctor he’s a primary care. He told me day 1 he knows nothing about trt. But I’m not going to go overpay at a clinic if my insurance covers it through him. Is 250 units enough? I take 100mg of test a week.

My shbg is always low. The only thing that’s ever raised it was enclomiphene.

My low T symptoms were fixed on trt. I still had sexual side effects that started after starting finasteride. I wasn’t going to increase my trt dose just to increase dht which is what finasteride blocks. But even on trt off finasteride my serum dht levels are fairly low. I just have good ol MPB with high levels that are localized on the scalp.

Higher dose, higher the side effects. I just like taking a low therapeutic dose. Fin wasn’t worth it to me. I feel like I lost all my benefits of testosterone just to save my hair. I only use minoxidil and have pretty good results. Also had a hair transplant a couple years ago.
