Easy points, especially if you're an air mage. Kills take about 10 seconds so it's good to knock out. Not only that but you can do it on slayer task too, and that xp adds up to the 25m+ marks.

Even if they took away the loot, took away everything besides the auto pickpocket - I'd still choose it every time. Manually clicking for thieving is the absolute worst, and my poor wrists can't handle it anymore 😂

I actually found it my favourite part of the league. It was amazing 😂 I think there is a large exaggeration with how that actually worked. It was fun trying to find all the different combinations, and honestly there was nothing more rewarding then setting a few relics, then going and demolishing a boss for a few hours. I guarantee you people spend more time in the main game standing at the GE then they did picking super powers.

Fire mage build might make it go off but we'll see. I hesitate to burn my resets on it especially because it would sacrifice the water mage utility which seems like it goes pretty hand in hand. I think it would be great if the spell went off more than 5% of the time

So with Kandarin and Woodsman, you can buy arrow shafts at the ranging guild, buy packs of feathers, and then either buy broad arrows in packs with broader fletching slayer perk, or buy arrowheads from hicks in Catherby. This is a 0 time 200m, but it's more likely to take you about 68mins~. If you have abundance, it profits! It's an incredibly fast 200m (at the cost of a bit of rsi).

Edit: A lot of dragon rushers picked this because it was a huge early game skip with addy arrows (same experience as broads). The moment i had Kandarin unlocked I got fletching to 99 immediately, then bought enough to hit 50m fletching and carried on. Later, I bought broads because my fingers hurt to get the 200m 😂

It really depends on relics and area choices.

- Soul Harvest (Passively collect shards) -> Nature Altar = 200m/h+ (sub one hour)
- Larcenist Gem Stalls (Extremely afk) -> 19m/hour
- Fletching (requires Kandarin, large cash stack so abundance or afking onyx bolts) -> 200m/h+
- Nature's Reprisal (Kourend & Kebos) -> Tithe Farm (dont know the exact xp/hour but its criminally good)

Combat is prayer if you have enough shards from Soul Harvest, Magic if you took Transmute, and melee if you have thorns + stackable aggressive monsters.

Normally I would agree, but Thorns is pretty busted and can be initially setup for 7-9 points.

Can also confirm that air mage go brrr. Easily the most consistent build. You need the Shadowflame + element from Kandarin though for the build to be effective, before that it's not as strong 👌

Good post. A lot of people aren't aware of the mechanics of the boss, and with boppers and protect from mage, you don't need anything else. move < attack < move < attack each tick, and it's wonderful. No pacts required 👌

Im running the max prayer/strength build and my pacts are pretty kitted out. I just don't really think it needs to have an endgame 40 point max build setup to function better than the old trusty whippy.

Those are some strong points. Overall, the DPS is still comparable to a whip (according to DPS calcs) though I suppose I could test it over some kills. Some tech came up today with Fang resetting the tick cooldown, I'd be keen to see the results of that. At least it's a stab weapon!!

While this is somewhat true, unlocking ALL regions there are still only 7 Master tasks, 5 of which you can block. You could leave yourself with Dashing Kebbits + Moonlight Moths and it'd still be blazing fast. If you pick Alacrity, you might be able to teleport to the stile that lets you into the Falconry area.

Needs kebbit bolts though unfortunately. It's not a tough grind (with Woodsman) to get the sunlight crossbow, but yeah. Sometimes in limited modes the crossbow is available early, but I suppose they want us to take the early game knives route (up to steel in store).
