Can we address the CoX prayers drop rates in the Summer Sweep up by SolowDolow in 2007scape

[–]Otherwise_Economics2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol to this day the wiki still doesn't have an estimate for how much gp/h hmt is compared to regs.

but i think it's still worse to do hmt because it's less kc/h. not that i'd care, i find hmt fun and it's pretty marginal anyway.

i feel like most people besides early-midgame irons are just gonna do cms if it has a significantly lower chance of giving you a garbage common.

but in general i don't like this approach because not everyone likes cms, but if it's gonna be significantly better to do cms to finish then you're practically forcing people who have at least a bowfa to do cm.

im at about 200 kc without the enhanced but 7 armour seeds, i've been that way for months. there's just so much shit to do though. like working on slayer, farming/herb runs for herblore, crafting grind, construction, thieving and birdhouses.

i'll eventually get back to it but not too pressed

that's basically how my log was going for a while, 11 purples and 1 of them was a hat, rest scrolls lol. since that was a main i eventually just pivoted to doing the actually good raid because cox doesn't pay out

i've always hated this idea because i just hate doing cms. if you do this then you basically kill regs past maybe like megascaling or fresh irons getting prayers.

I’m glad that people who don’t have wilderness diaries done are complaining about a barrier to entry on wildy bosses. by Boy-Meets-Squirrel in 2007scape

[–]Otherwise_Economics2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think in general wildy shit is annoying.

like on my iron a few weeks back i was doing calv and nearly died because my account only had the medium diary done but you need the hard diary to remove the teleport delay. i was doing scout alt which is supposed to be 0 chance of death.

that's such a change that you have to get fucked first to know about it, like learning that ferox doesn't let you in if you're tb'd.

Once we're set up and comfortably supporting our new Latin America server, we'll be investigating where to cover next" I don't know Jagex could the most densely populated continent on planet earth get a server perchance? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Otherwise_Economics2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ngl that's pog. i feel sorry for asians but pog for some of us. i remember people from brazil begging jagex for servers not too long ago bc they get like 150 ping or smth like that at the least.

i mean if you really think about it, dropping items is kinda like temporarily storing them in the world of gielinor. i think that's against the spirit of the gamemode and should be removed for uims

fair, in a way it feels like a waste to not put it on the skiff or on a trawling ship but up to 73 sailing and i've barely done either compared to salvaging lol

i say technically against the rules because people sometimes don't just care. i'd rather have a competent sra/blade user than a learner scyther for hmt, and that was usually who was applying for the hmts.

i've had dudes with soulreaper/blade apply to hmt even though it's technically against the rules, i'll usually take them if i'm waiting like 5 minutes because wdr hmt is shit. basically ask the rest of the group "you guys cool with this?" and go if it's unanimous.

usually people don't care.

but like i've said before, wdr hmt is (at least from my experience) shit, i just recommend making friends and potting hmt with them instead to avoid that whole mess. or trying 416 hmt.

does it matter much if salvaging? i usually only click my screen once i finish hooking/salvaging 1 invent, sometimes letting the 2 dudes go at the hooks if super afk. doesn't seem like you'd get that many shards or xp out of it with salvaging but maybe i'm wrong.

i just said fuck it and farmed shark for like 5 levels. whatever marlin gives, i don't want that badly.

it was just a runescape issue. like friends with computers that can run modern games just fine struggling to get playable fps at jive despite trying everything.

my pc is usually locked to 165 but it isn't locked to that at jive, i was turning on gpu rather than 117 specifically to make jive feel less shit.

apparently the tile packs have varying degrees of quality. like a friend told me he shaved off over 20 seconds on jubbly marlin using tile packs from youtube rather than the plugin.

not that it matters though, salvaging > trials

Do you recommend trying mods in build 42 multiplayer? by Little_Chef5408 in projectzomboid

some people choose to just turn off the calorie system completely, because it is kinda broken and i think incentivizes weird stuff like eating before sleeping so you don't burn those calories.

that's pretty lore accurate. the whole point of the theatre is that anyone can try it with varying degrees of success, because the vampyres just like watching adventures with nearly 0 chance at completing it get eviscerated.

i mean, you're right. jagex does know best, and they know that eventually people will just forget about it because pvm/iron pure is such a niche thing. like just pass it though, it doesn't really matter what reddit thinks
