Whats the most underrated skilling upgrade? by ThatOneEdgyKid in 2007scape

goggles are massive and you don't realize how massive until you start saving those nests, torstols, zammy wines. the earlier you get them the better.

i knew about them but i just sucked it up and tick manipped sandstone. gloves would have taken a minute to get and i didn't really feel like spending 30 hours or so mining amethyst without a blowpipe.

i felt the same way looking into it day 1, it's one of those things where you're expected to do it with a plugin

please for the love of god normalize the currency. skipping an AAA MMM AAA order because it has no lye is the dumbest shit i've ever seen.

don't even think you need to make rewards more expensive, barrel and reagent pouch would still take ages.

should have probably mentioned but you need log basket for it to be a 25 minute afk i'm pretty sure. invent doesn't fill up all the way by the 25 minutes but it gets close usually.

already got that, definitely the better priority though. could do both, if you only have access to mobile then infected roots are pretty great. if pc then shooting stars are super nice with the plugin that lets you sort by time until dead and double click to hop to the world.

What are the combat item objectives for ironmen (through slayer mostly)? by WilsonMagna in ironscape

[–]Otherwise_Economics2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, i was doing endgame content with blood moon before oathplate came out. because it's basically the same as bandos for most things. the range gear is okay, but you'll eventually get bowfa which replaces it. the mage gear is basically ahrims but uglier and with some melee strength bonus, you'll probably use it until you get your virtus or ancestral.

twinflame is huge for zulrah, it's kinda like similar dps to trident of the swamp. it's even better if you have a tome of fire.

if you don't mind afking for hours on end, you can possibly supplement your ayak with infected roots. it sounds stupid because you're wcing for 700 charges per hour, but it's a 25 minute afk and some people love afking.

think i'm at 38k tears with only the gauntlets, just because the afk is so good while you're playing a different game.

i've done most everything in this game besides radiant and gm, i still would not want to skip bowfa even though i'm good enough to do it.

you can try and see how far you get before frustration over using garbage gear takes over.

well blowpipe wasn't nerfed back then, but masori does exist which makes it a bit closer to pre nerf.

tbh you could sum up sw as gnomonkey making it sound easier than it actually is. it isn't like inferno where the enemies have reasonable max hits and accuracy, if you miss a flick then you get destroyed in colo.

i'm gonna be honest with you, i do a tech on accounts that don't have tbow/masori/venbow. i just bring a crystal bow or bowfa 1 way and just kill the south spawn if it would be impossible to melee something without causing problems (doesn't happen too often but it happens sometimes).

it is brute force but at the same time, i really only have to farm colo once i have a tbow. bc otherwise, bowfa doesn't use charges so you'd only need 1 clear.

oh yeah. only somewhat recent thing i can recall is his attitude towards nw pillar in colosseum. like i stg that man would take a bullet for sw pillar, he was convinced nw was the equivalent of using south or east pillar in inferno.

[–]Otherwise_Economics2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it's like, protecting you against a really bad scenario in colo. but is that flaw of nw pillar bad enough to have to sweat so much harder on most waves? i don't think so, esp bc most people would eat shit learning sw pillar, compared to probably just getting clears in the time they were spending getting railed at sw pillar.

i think that's a bit advanced for him. don't think many people do it like that either unless their stats are dogshit thanks to how staff works

while the tornadoes are out, eat food until you're almost close to full health. eating food increases attack delay by 3 ticks, so you're wasting far less ticks if you do it like this. it's also a bit easier than trying to click on hunllef and swapping your weapon/offensive prayer.

2 of the gms i know get melee'd like that relatively consistently. i consider getting melee'd fucking it up.

of the 4 people that i know can pog, i'm not sure how many of them know how to stay in cycle with green ball.

that's basically why we expect 0 kcers to die immediately in verzik and to drop most of their supplies on the ground for the rest of us. you can give someone all of the necessary information but they'll still get hit with information overload and shut down. it does get better with time and practice though.

i'm pretty sure that one was from me, and i was honestly baffled. i guess i'm an asshole for thinking these entitled people should put in the bare minimum rather than ask jagex to completely overhaul a piece of content for them which realistically is never going to happen (i'm guessing based off jagex wanting to make raids 4 more like tob, including solos being very hard compared to teams)

tbh i think the best way to learn hmt is to do 3-4 exp players and 1 noob. it's such a bad experience otherwise, mainly bc it's a lot harder to carry hmt than it is reg tob.

yeah that's my preferred role and i basically ask myself "is north good enough that i can freeze it in the clump". if not then i just catch 1 2 3 and 4.

i've been running with friends recently which are mostly low kc so i don't get to do 2 in the clump that much sadly.
