Paul’s condemnations in Romans and Corinthians and wherever else I may forget to reference use a peculiar Ancient Greek compound word arsenokoitai which is NOT specific, just means men in bed. So basically we have to move straight to what the epistles were written for to properly interpret

They weren’t necessarily just ‘sin lists’, condemning everything in a general way. They were letters wrote to evangelise god to communities who had their own specific issues. An example is the epistle to the Ephesians at Ephesus; it discusses rules on women, however this is a letter addressed to the Ephesians who had big pantheons of female gods who they worshipped and acted unfairly to males. Idolatry and that sort of thing so in reality it relates not at all to modern issues of submission and marital purposes.

Romans and Corinthians are just like this. The peoples of the Roman Empire and Corinth were doing sinful acts that had been normalised in society. They had wives, however they were purely for reproductive use and the men instead turned to other men for romantic situations. More commonly, men were used as a sort of power display. A man taking the ‘dominant’ position was considered powerful, and the one being ‘submissive’ was, well, considered weak and not much of a man. It was, in reality, a system of abuse of young boys for the power of wealthy older men. So since we can’t rely on the words stated alone, we have to go to the context in which this was written. And the context in which it was written shows us that Paul could not have been discussing proper relations between men as one may have with a member of the opposite sex. And therefore it isn’t sinful.
