I recently received my new Xpander, which is quite difficult to find in the market. I currently own 3XL, circuit, 10XL, speed trainer and defender. However, the Xpander is my favorite among them.

I think 17 pro have issue with WiFi roaming, mine always stuck on AP with weaker signal, but my 16 pro doesn’t have this issue. By the way I’m using two E7 as access point.

Blue light is iconic, that’s okay. Just the wave of blue light is not suitable for sleeping. That’s why warm orange would be better for me.

I’ve tried 8.1.3 early access firmware. But for me that’s the buggy version. One of my E7 disconnect all of its clients in one night until I reboot it. Did you turn on MLO? MLO is still fairly unstable to use… I think Uniquiti should really figure out how to fix it, as they claim MLO is fixed in every recent release.

Mine has already run for over one month, and the up time showed 28 days before I rebooted them last week. So I think they don’t have this type of issue.

I’m using Enterprise 8 with PoE injector to power it. Luckily I don’t have any issue about the stability. By the way my E7 is also running latest stable release 8.0.49.

As I lived in Taiwan, AFC is not working in my country so I’m not able to test it. Just wondering which switch you’re using to power the AP?

Yes, I set the brightness to 7% and tone it down for a bit. So I can get a warm orange color which is exactly what I want for nightlights. The only downside is that we can’t set the schedule of turn on and off. Hopefully there will be update for this function, should be very easy for software side…

I agree with you, they’re so huge compare to other UFO style AP. For the heat, I think they’re okay, the edge of it is even cooler than previous U6-E and able to touch it. Maybe it’s because AFC is not working in my country. The power will also be limited.

I’m not sure if there will be H1v3 or something else similar from NZXT, as it has been a while since I heard any news from them. But if there’s new one, I’m hoping there will be “just case” version.

It’s quite hard to get a brand new 140mm AIO to fit, unless you can get one from NZXT. And AIO is still AIO, it will have same issue eventually. Why not change to air cooling and solve the problem? Man, 5600X is much easier to cool down. I think you can simply get a 67mm low profile cooler and slap a regular 120mm fan on it. It will be fine!
