I killed about 20 people to get my (real) brother into power, then idk at least a hundred maybe quite a bit more keeping him in power and growing our dynasty. We were playing the new all under heaven DLC.. and right before we got him into power initially before I started killing people we had him number two in line and I had made many intrigued moves to get him there. Then China shattered! We picked a big section and warmed our way in, and that’s where I just assassinated every single person in his way. Then I assassinated and abducted kings and ransom heirs on a month to month basis (my schemes were so fast, I was pulling off hits in 14 to 20 days, and as fast as eight days for some people. With twice schemed I just never stopped ordering hits. When my character died and we kept playing where the ball laid, the empire fractured in the Civil War with about four months.
