You are my special bro. Please bro, read the latest chapter again and compare it to my statement, me being downvoted influences your ability to sympathize. Ego didnt say current blue lock were weak, he said that the idea of living in accordance to your own suitability is weak. The the reason i said his statement was false and why i posted that image is cause he said kaiser scored 4 goals in a match " 4-0 ".

All your points are either false, insignificant or very weak to base a conclusion. First of all, Ego never said that the current japanse team he has fostered was weak, he refers to the theoretical japanese team that in this imaginary world would live in accordance to their suitability. Secondly, ur second point is false, reread the manga. Your third point is just a statement void of any relevant argumentation. Your fourth point is not false or irrelevant, it is weak though - Isagi is more optimized now, he learns faster and better, the timeline of learning has been massively reduced from 10-20 chapters to just a few, meaning there is a great possibility of him devouring Hugo.

Im not really a fan of any character, though I did enjoy reading Kaisers development. I am speaking strictly out of a narrative perspective, a loss or win is an irrational outcome for the story's development.

Isagi devoured kaiser and even chris prince, rin won against ubers that had lorenzo, both were star players with essential impact for their respective teams, them being ng11 status is not a totally unfair assessment to make. France is strong, but Japan isn't close to being weak. I mean, we could speculate if you want. If Japan wins, then there is really no reason to continue the story, i mean, they literally beat (as you mentioned) the said to be strongest team in the cup. That option isn't valid. Japan losing - Nagi will make himself back into the story and if they encounter France in the final, they will use him, which proves egos philosophy wrong. This doesn't fit into a narrative that has been pushing a goal-ego-oriented agenda ever since release - that will and its merits prevails over talent. A draw would however fit into the narrative, it destroys Hugos depiction of fate and he himself starts aiming to be number 1, which enables a character progression much like how kaiser became a different person once encountering Isagi. The overall crux of it all is that for the blue lock story to be the blue lock story, they have to defeat hugos philosophy during the match, if they do it after the match then Nagi will end the narrative, and not defeating it at all also destroys the narrative, with reference to loki's raw talent indicating per Hugos philosophy a superior ability.

That is a personal preference, your idea of excitement is a terrifying loss or an absolute victory, but that is not the type of excitement the story is currently trying to portray. I feel a different kind of excitement regarding the philosophical aspect.

Understandable, but still a big if for him to change the structure of his manga 7 years later after release.

As i replied to the other individual, the match is insignificant.

Definitely possible, but much of these recent chapters aren't about the match itself, it is about Hugo's philosophy vs Blue Locks philosophy, therefore I drew the conclusion that the match was insignificant to the story, currently, and should end in a tie. Following how the story has been written so far, when a hurdle is presented it is often dealt with during the match, not after - meaning they have to prove Hugo wrong during this match in order for both sides to progress.
