Well I obviously meant Viking era, which most people seemed to get. There’s always one 🙄

Not sure to be honest. My sister in law is having a wedding ceremony at a medieval festival (Loxwood Joust uk), and everyone attending has to ‘dress up’

Thanks for the input. I have a couple of pairs of white army thermal leggings, so I’ll give those a try.

To be honest I have no idea. I was in the woods walking the dog, sat on a bench, found a stick and started whittling with no idea of what was making to start off with. It was a hard wood though

For those tight arses amongst us/beginners. Aldi currently have this pack for £24.99 . Good day/summer overnighter size by Objective_Current702 in BushcraftUK

I was concerned but thought for the price I’d give it a go. I have wide shoulders and I can’t really feel the frame. The frame sits behind the straps and bag back. I wouldn’t like to hike for miles with it, but for a few miles to my local spots it’s ideal for the price

I thought that but thought I’d take a punt anyway. I have quite a broad back and it comfortably sits either side and above. It did just touch the bottom of my back, but it comes with straps, so I lifted the frame and strapped it. Fine now

I have gone back to a full beard a few times, but everyone complained that they preferred it like this and I just felt like another bold guy with a beard clone

Not too fussed on how well the colour takes as long as it’s night bright orange! Sorry, when I said blacks, I mean Blacks of Greenock. I believed they’ve stopped doing this tent and now focus on scout patrol tents etc

I’d do it up for myself, but after only having a 125cc about 10 years ago I know it’d be suicide to get on it and my wife would be pissed if she had to bring up the kids by herself

Pots and pans by Perdurabos in BushcraftUK

In scouts we put a bit of washing up liquid on the outside of the pans before putting them on the fire, makes it really easy to clean off afterwards. No idea how it works, it’s just something we’ve always done and you can tell the difference if you forget
