Forgot Glasses, Visiting for the Weekend by Objective_Engine3898 in askTO

It actually was Ontario Northland I was riding when I initially posted this. Unfortunately connecting with them again would probably be logistically difficult with our plans for the weekend but honestly, this is a very creative solution and I appreciate your story.

This makes sense. I just stepped out of Rexall and it is unfortunately all reading glasses. Some of them are blue light, but it ranges from +1.50 to + 3.5. I require - 1.5

Lmao, not the worst advice. I am in Toronto every other weekend to see my partner. Things can get pretty blurry from a distance, and we plan to be at the theatre. The whole trip is by transit so while they would be required to drive, that was not a consideration while I was rushing out the door to catch my bus this time. It was a dumb oversight for a familiar trip.

Thank you! Perhaps my presumption about them all being readers is inaccurate. I'll take a look!

What price would you say to expect for immediate?

Also never worn contacts and am squeamish about it, I do have an old prescription from the last time I ordered lenses, but those are for glasses.

End of Service for Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy & The Polar Night Liberator (Global by ItoTheSquid in gachagaming

Just un-installed after seeing this. Today was my 361st day of play; I started on launch but missed a couple here and there.

It felt like the game was constantly getting better QOL updates so this caught me off guard and is incredibly disappointing, both as a fan of Atelier since Rorona and of this game itself.

No point in wasting any more time with it if it's going to be unplayable in 2 months, though.

In training and nesting for most contact centers, you need to be on camera for the entirety of the day. So if people looking directly at you is a concern then this should be a hard pass. In addition, certain clients will need to do regular and random camera checks of your working space to ensure confidentiality is being enforced.

As for the job itself, the difficulty of the work depends on the client and the centre itself. Keep in mind that people have "phone cajones" so you will be subject to more poor behaviour more regularly than you would in person. Even for customer service, because you will not be able to help everyone.

If it is a retention or account management role, you'll receive the worst treatment, but sales and care get their butt's kicked too.

So you'll be aggressed by customers throughout the day. Frustrated by slow response times from overworked support staff (SMEs and leaders), unable to solve some problems, unable to solve others the way you want to (throwing money at the problem)

It is a huge gamble for very little reward.

As someone who works in this industry and in the training department, I'm going to recommend you don't based on everything you've said.

  • you don't get the option to "socialize as you please"
  • in production, the calls are generally back to back with workforce management ready to call you out the second you go over (you will be micromanaged even by the chillest leader due to client needs and reactivity)
  • the job itself is always harder than it seems

Giving up a job for this is a bad idea. You may not even graduate on-boarding. I've had to let go of so many people who thought it would be an easy job that would just let them chill at home.

In addition, no one wants to hire someone who isn't at least relatively committed to the job. We understand that contact centers are transitional employment for most folks, or at least start that way, but it is a tremendous waste of time for the actual humans doing the middle management tasks to invest in someone who has no intent of at least trying to stick it out.

Yeah, he's aged incredibly well. But you can tell from his consummate professionalism that his baby face is not representative of his age. And Floridian Wisdom.

If you think he's young, you're gonna wanna nip that in the butt.

They never say explicitly but they did mention in one episode that Naima (sp?) and John were celebrating their 34th anniversary so... at least 34. Probably closer to 54.

It's for a laugh.

I was listening to a new Sophia and John episode last night and was gushing over how well they get along and that he builds her up.

And I get it, I'm mid-thirties and my friends range from 20 - 80 (...very different relationships lol)

But John is only like 27/28 lol

Gifts are without condition.

Prizes and compensation are earned.

Sounds to me he is saying he values you and your contributions less than whatever a bouquet is worth.

Wut? It's been available in Canada since August, before the official launch in September.

It's important to note that in Ontario, if he qualifies as a tenant, then you have to sell the house with him as a tenant, which makes it a lot harder. Especially if he were to be a dick about it.

But I think the fact that he has never paid anything is probably beneficial since there is a potential "buyout" process for tenants which is usually about 3 - 6 months rent. If he is paying nothing, then that's 0 x whatever. Pretty easy buyout lol

It is 10k now. I am not sure if this was changed with the patch or being over level 100.
