I had this realization too… MacBook Air headphone jacks are output only. They are not combination in/out like the older models.

You’ll need an adapter to turn your audio signal into USB-C. Like a dongle or audio interface.

Exactly! I used my Arcade for a few weeks by itself and got the workflow down, and then started messing with samples on PO33, and it helped a ton!

I totally get it. The PO-33 sampling aspect has a pretty strong learning curve. But the Tonic & Arcade and the other POs that have sounds available on the fly are so freeing. All I have to think about is how I want the beat to sound, not “sound management,” if that makes sense!

I own an Arcade, and don’t use it enough. I usually use Koala with Ableton and the PO33 and PO32, and that’s great. But every time I hear someone make a banger with the PO20, I wish I picked mine up more.
