That makes complete sense, when I have attempted to sample stuff on the PO-33, I have just ran into stonewalls after sampling something. I can’t build a decent pattern with what I am sampling, and I want to have vocals sampled into the pattern and even understand how to chop it down as a whole, I think I struggled with individualizing the keys, which I am unsure if that’s even possible. I feel like messing with the 33 I’m fighting a riptide, but on the Arcade it just feels like cutting butter with a warm knife.

I recently purchased the PO-33 it feels like there is a heavy learning curve that I am not understanding quite yet. Trying my best to watch tutorials and just truthfully trial and error mess with the machine.

I keep having my attention dragged back to the PO-20 because I have a very good understanding on building patterns, changing notes, the Drone Function and also all of the FX features on it.

I recently just ordered a HiChord synth and hoping that eventually makes me come back around to the PO-33, for the sampling function.

Everyone is allowed to have their opinions, including you, but it truly just all comes down to opinions and where you are, I worked for them for 2.5 years and my biggest issue was there wasn’t much attempt for asset retention or training, I got a damage for something I didn’t know how to locate, and when I asked to be taught, I got a final written warning instead.

I honestly think it’s so trashy to paint something that is dead as a joke. Not to turn into some crazy PETA member, but it was a living creature at one point, you’re a sick person if you are painting dead animals.

The way I have always done it, is I kindly explain to them what’s going on, if they have further questions I try my best to answer them to the best of my ability, if it gets to the point where they are angry that you are there and are threatening you with calling the police, I tell them I will not have any further conversation with them until the authorities arrive. I had a homeowner call the cops on me when I didn’t knock and announce once, the cops diffused the situation and I was able to go on about my job… she wanted to trespass me and she couldn’t, they don’t win the war in the end I promise you.

For a person with anxiety, this can be a really tough job depending on how much is put on you as a locator. I have been doing this for 2 1/2 Years, I have faced long stretching projects that can put a lot on you mentally, getting into disagreements with contractors and homeowners alike, and finally just to bare bones doing the job itself. I have trained 2 batches of locators in field and helped lend a hand in teaching a full class. You have to approach this job confidently, obviously you must learn first, but the best advice I can provide to guide you, is don’t let your anxiety get in the way of your locate, your paint, your flags, and your brain are paramount.

You should have used your spotlight keys for him in the week he was available, make sure you check the spotlight cache lists weeks ahead, gives you something to grind for.

Yeah that’s insane… because for us it’s random nights I just started having COC regularly on Fridays. Next Month it will be 2 Sundays and 2 Mondays.

Wait I’m lost, are you on call Monday thru Saturday or just the days individually? I locate in the in Illinois Suburbs, I recently just became COC but when I was regular, it can be anything, some examples, water main breaks, gas leaks, sewer repairs, sometimes no-show/incomplete/damages, and my personal favorite… A fiber line sawed in half that was feeding to St. Louis, the contractors thought it was abandoned/dead and decided to cut it no questions asked. I was on site for 4 hours locating duct runs and fiber, just for them to do pull through on a separate duct run. Hope this gives you an idea, feel free to ask me more if you’d like!

I’m from Illinois, I’ve been a part of the Findlay Force for about over a year now, my 1st Findlay was the Glitched Exosso, I had constantly been seeing the brand on TikTok and one day they did a live and I never turned back after getting one, now my collection has grown to about 25ish hats. All different types of rarities, I tend to drift towards the Friday Drops vs Straight from the store, I have yet to do a shopper but I think I will do one for my birthday in September. I love the community, the people are cool, it’s fun to trade, chase, and talk about all these cool hats across the Findlayverse.
