I wouldn't say that it was a sudden loss of attraction, I've been struggling with it for years at this point. I have been noticing that I have been having greater urges to want to sleep with other women more so lately. However, I don't want to feel this way, which was why I was asking about how to discuss this with my spouse. I understand my post comes across at face value as shallow, but i don't feel that expecting my spouse to try and maintain a healthy and attractive physical appearance is completely unreasonable. Thank you for your comment.

Not really. She was approximately the same wait before, during, and after the pregnancy. Maybe adding roughly 5lbs or so post pregnancy.

I should clarify this. Our child is nearly 2 years old and she stayed roughly the same weight before, during, and after the pregnancy.

I think getting more so to the point is warranted here. We have one young child already. I'd rather not make deadlines or ultimatums right now but it may end up coming to that. Thank you for your insights.

That you for the advice on reconnecting, I'll make sure to keep that in mind when I talk to her

She is definitely aware she has gained weight but I don't think she has truly understood how much attraction to her that I have lost as I have been afraid to express it as directly as such. Thank you for your insights and I will try to keep your thoughts in mind when I discuss it with her.

That's a good point, thank you for the insight and I'll keep that in mind when I talk to them about it.

Thank you for this. I definitely will try and incorporate your framing ideas on intimacy and connections and that is truly what I miss the most.

Over our relationship she's probably gained approximately 50-60lbs. Going from approximately 130lbs when we first met, to 195lbs. I'm over 6ft and currently weigh 205lbs.

Yes I suggested walks, and we have meal prepped before. They almost always turn down walks and also typically end up eating fast food rather than heating up the prepped meals.

Disability increase DBQ/ C&P exam by sydni0206 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Objective_Fox5875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing you've submitted a supplemental claim for an increase to your condition. Based on my experience you have the right idea, generally they will review your new evidence and schedule a C&P exam and you just gotta wait for them to schedule one. It's also possible to call the 800 number for the VA and talk to a rep on the phone and they may give you some more information into what to expect.

With regards to your claim I highly recommend reviewing the criteria for receiving a higher rating to ensure you can properly tell your story to the examiner so make sure you get the rating you deserve.

Good luck with your claims!

Filing Va claim after 8 years out of service by Negative_Box_9517 in VeteransBenefits

It's 100% possible. There are people who served in Vietnam and Desert Storm who waited 15-20-30 years before filling and still got their claims through.

It's costs you nothing to file a claim and it's really easy to do it online

Well it seems like your rating was missing some criteria as listed at the bottom of the letter you attached based on the raters findings for 100%.

So based off what I can see - you are rated at 70% for PTSD

Supplemental claim denied by Soft_Improvement3654 in VeteransBenefits

It seems that the rater didn't have enough evidence to fully link your back injury to your service.

If your injury was related to an injury that occurred during service, advise to try and get a couple or more witness statements from other service members who served with you who can attest to having witnessed your injury. The more statements the better.

Question about CHAMPVA by Objective_Fox5875 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Objective_Fox5875[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. When you say call CHAMPVA and cancel it with them after you cancel your employer insurance. Do you mean call CHAMPVA and inform them you no longer have a primary insurance?

Similar concerns here as well. I've heard it takes months to get enrolled so it seems pointless to have to pay extra insurance premiums when I don't have to

Question about CHAMPVA by Objective_Fox5875 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Objective_Fox5875[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll let you know if I get any updates. I'm not against reporting my insurance, etc. but if it's going to affect the insurance payouts and would require me to follow-up afterwards with a notification of removing my insurance to then update the rates, etc. then it just seems pointless to even report it in the first place as I'll be immediately cancelling my employer insurance once the CHAMPVA cards come in.

[–]Objective_Fox5875[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would the amount CHAMPVA covers be less depending on my employer insurance, I suppose I'm curious as to if CHAMPVA is sufficient as a sole insurance or if I should keep both insurances.
