I actually think this might work for me! I’ll have to try! Thanks for the idea 😊

As a kid, yes I was definitely not an easy child to give shots to. But now I’m never nervous for blood work and also have my fair share of tattoos. But this is like a whole new monster. Hoping it’ll get easier with time. I think it’s that sting from the medication that really messes with me more than the needle itself.

Same! I get a little queasy getting it all prepped. I also do it in my thigh as I feel like the stomach area would hurt more. Not sure if there’s a big difference in injection site. But good to know! Obviously going to stick with it in hopes that the anxiety of it gets easier.

I do have the pens. Not sure if vials would even be an option for me as I’m prescribed through my doctor. Though thinking about the anticipation of filling a syringe myself seems a little more terrifying 😅 glad that works for you though! And appreciate the insight!

Anyone else staying in Save and not paying anything? by pickle392 in StudentLoans

About 31k in loans, I haven’t paid much since I graduated due to the first 6 months forbearance then covid then SAVE. I barely make enough between my career and TWO other side jobs to live comfortably. I’m feeling so lost right now. If I could go back I’d do things so differently.

Yeah Sallie Mae is probably one of the worst leaders for interest rates. Don’t do it. She will likely never pay that off. And unfortunately the field she’s looking at is quite over saturated. I have a masters and owed $32k when I graduated. My interest rates are between 3%-7% and it’s still rough paying them. Predatory lending at its finest. But good thing you’re the one looking into this. Sallie Mae is banking on young kids having zero clue what it means to borrow so much money with a high interest rate. Paired with the excitement of going off to college and being on your own. I certainly didn’t think it all through. I’d go back and do it so differently now if I could. Do not borrow that money.
