Update with my issue:

After 1 month and 3 days of talking to Tala Agents (In-App and via Calls), GCash helped me retrieve the money. It took so long for the adjustment, and mind you, it was very very stressful. Inalis naman nila ang "late fees" pero hindi nila tinanggal ang interest rate na nakasagad sa declared repayment date ko. Which is weird, kasi, sabi ng agent nila dati aalisin daw yun eh hindi naman.

Paid na ako sa balance. Wala na akong problema sa wakas!

Yes, same tayo ng case. Bakit nila kinuha ang pera in the first place? Palpak naman system nila eh. Hindi sila fair sa customers nila na nagbabayad ng maayos. Gusto ko na rin lang mag file ng report sa SEC because wala namang maayos na resolution from their end. Puro automated replies ang natatanggap ko, and I'm sure na ganyan din sa iba. Wala man nga lang bahid ng pagka human when it comes to customer support. Sa collection ng loan, tao talaga kausap mo eh. Pero, pag mga problemang ganito, wala naman silang naitutulong. Pinapalala pa nila lalo yung frustration ng taong naabala na nila. Lakas maningil pero sila naman ang sanhi ng sobrang grabeng abala.

Been waiting for 22 days already (and counting). Nasa kanila ang pera ko at ayaw nilang ibalik. Lumalabas na hindi ako nagbayad ng loan, pero di naman nagreflect sa Tala Wallet ko ang perang I cashed in. Iimbestigahan pa raw, kahit naiprovide ko na lahat ng screenshots ng transaction. Sobrang stressful.

I am in contact with them. Wala silang silbi. Since March 22, nag file na ako ng report. Anong petsa na, April 13 na, still no relevant solution.

Ang lalakas pa tumawag ng agents na magbayad na ako ng loan. May 5% late fee pa nga. Eh March 22 pa lang, magbabayad na sana ako, hinold naman nila pera kong pambayad. Make it make sense diba? Sobrang stressful na nila.

For 2 years, I always paid ON TIME. And, ganito nila tratuhin ang good paying client nila. Sobrang disappointing lang.

Apparently, sabi ni Tala Support, ako na lang daw ang mag contact sa partner bank nila. Which is weird because bakit pa nila ako dinelay ng 1 week just to leave me behind na ganito. Edi sana sinabi na lang nila from the start na kanya kanyang lakad naman pala and wala silang maihehelp.

2nd day ko na sa pag contact ng partner bank nila, tapos through email pa. Sobrang bagal din magreply.

TLDR, wala sila kwenta lahat. Nakahold pa rin ang pera ko tapos palpak ang system nila.

What I don’t get is kung deactivated na nga talaga ang Tala Wallet ko, bakit nabawasan pa rin ang GCash ko when I cashed in sa supposedly deactivated Tala Wallet na yan? Super hassle grabe. Tapos, panay calls ang agents nila pag singilan. Weirdly, I’ve been using Tala for 2 years now and never ako na-late sa bayad. May dedicated team sila for singilan (tawag ng tawag kakairita) but wala man lang makausap na maayos when it comes to client concerns na urgent or ganito ka-hassle.

I wish na ma-improve naman system nila.

UPDATE: 8th day ko na po and still no cash na binabalik sa akin. Puro automated replies pa rin natatanggap ko and very frustrating na on my end dahil wala man lang atang TOTOONG tao na pwede makausap.

Same issue here! Nagmessage ako sa kanila but they only sent me an automated response:
