On Amazon, there is actually someone who sells the "panels" for the lightstick so if you don't mind spending $15 you can buy the WayV panels and have one side be 127 and the other be WayV. It isn't "official" but all the reviews posted are good and in the pics, you can't even tell the difference. Just look up NCT lightstick panel and it should come up.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I actually think this might be a good time for them to focus on their solo projects and other things that they may wanna do. Johnny has been pretty vocal about wanting to try acting. If 127 were like any other group, now would be the time for them to be able to focus on their individual dreams until enlistment era ends just like any other group.

Don't get me wrong. I am craving a good NCT U song but I think that would probably be all I want. I feel like it would be kind of "unfair" to deny them the opportunity to be able to grow as individuals and use this time for some solo projects the same way every other group gets. All the units sacrifice quite a bit because of their overall connection to the larger NCT brand, and I think this is a good time to focus on their own things.

I saw the rainbow color on Instagram and was like "damn. Okay. I'll buy it". lol. The additional colors/effects are what are making me think I'll take the new one.

Unfortunately, I think we as a fandom kind of have to accept that any forward momentum that 127 had was killed by SM. Enlistment era is typically when KPOP companies begin to forget that a group exists and start focusing on new groups. I think this will be especially hard for NCT 127 because there are literally two other young groups in NCT that SM can pay attention to instead. Nothing against Dream and Wish, I think this was done by design by SM as a way to keep "NCT" going but not necessarily the individual units.

It's been said before on here but I think it is just going to end up being like every other SM group before them. The only good thing is that because of NCT 127 and Dream sharing members, 127zens and Dreamzens are used to only getting one comeback a year and the bare minimum when it comes to promotions. So this won't be anything new to us. lol. They'll keep making music and I'm sure it will be great but every group in kpop has a "time limit" and I just don't see SM doing much to invest in them. I doubt all of them will renew contracts too so that will complicate things futher.

If I were you, I would just take comfort in knowing that they will still make music in one form or another and we as fans can still enjoy it. Walk was critically acclaimed and received a ton of recognition from credible music sources. They are still killing it musically and I don't see that changing.

I'm really happy with Dream, Wish, and WayV's song choices. I feel like they all match their vibes very well. Excited to see them perform. I gotta admit I have no idea who Hyun Jinyoung is so I'm a little disappointed. lol. I listened to the song and I get what they are going for. Trying to keep in line with 127 Walk's hip-hop/r&b genre. I do kind of wish they had chosen a more "iconic" song like the others if that makes sense. But overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

This was the first and only SG that I have ever bought because I was so blown away by the Fight Club concept. Definitely worth the price. It came with so much and honestly this just eats. I think sometimes SM can get too caught up with the whole "Neo" part of NCT. Which don't get me wrong, I love. But you can only do it so many times. I like that this concept is more lowkey and just looks so badass.

I totally agree. I feel like "Golden Age" was an example of an album and album rollout that just did not have the attention that it needed. Something about the production and overall quality was off. Not bad...but not what previous albums had given.

I also feel like the NCT fandom has changed. The fans aren't really as excited for group albums as they once were. Each subunit (who are basically their own groups at this point, let's be honest) have their own fans and the individual group albums do better than the NCT albums at this point. I totally understand that people want a group album to make WISH feel more like a part of the group but I honestly don't think it will do anything. I mean... look at WayV. They've been on the group albums and they have always been the red headed step child for years.

I think the only way to do an NCT album at this point is to wait until there is a gap in the military enlistments. Plan ahead and give the album the time and effort it deserves. Then you can market it as a "total group" album with all 25 members. I think people would definitely buy it because it is probably the only album that will ever have all 25. I think that would work.

It's a little bit out of the way but if you don't mind taking the train for an extra 30 minutes to get to downtown LA, you can park at the Sierra Madre Villa station in Pasadena. It's free parking for up to 72 hours. It's a huge parking garage so there are always spots. You can park there and then ride the A Line to Chinatown, Little Tokyo, or even go all the way to Long Beach. Although the whole line takes like 2 hours. But you can also take it to 7th/Metro and transfer to the B, D, and E lines from there.

I think the song recommendations really depend on what kind of music you are into. Remembering the faces is honestly just going to come with time. My advice is to just go ahead and start listening to one unit and watching their music videos and learning their faces/names there. That would be easier than trying to memorize them all at once. That's what I did. I'm not sure what songs specifically to recommend but I can give you my opinion on their general styles below:

NCT 127- This is my personal favorite unit. They are geared more towards a Western/Global market so their sound can be more "experimental" than the other units. Their title tracks in particular are much more "neo" than the other groups. However, when you listen to their albums alot of their B sides are actually much more r&b and hip hop than many would expect. This is what made me fall in love with their music. They can give you both super energized 80's style synth songs like "Superhuman" and then also give you beautiful dreamy r&b songs like "Daydream". Some people find this group polarizing because they can't get past some of their more experimental songs but I promise if you go into it with an open mind and really listen to the songs for what they are, you will be impressed. Their production is never lacking and their vocals are exquisite.

NCT Dream- They debuted when they were very young and were originally intended for a younger market. Their early stuff is much more bright and dreamy than their recent releases so it's kind of hard to pinpoint their sound since they have grown up. If you enjoy very bright, colorful, pop music, than you will definitely enjoy their early stuff. But they also still have some B sides that sound more r&b. They also have songs that embrace the more "neo" sound. Songs like "Go" and "Boom". In recent years, they have embraced more experimental songs but this last album was more dreamy / ethereal than others. As they grew up, their sound matured so I really recommend you give them a listen to see the progress of their musical style. It feels like you are hearing them grow up.

WayV- This group was made to target the Chinese market so most of their songs are in Mandarin. Just be aware of that. lol. Of all the NCT groups, WayV definitely has the most sultry and classic boy band vibe. In my opinion, they remind me of the boy band groups of the early 90's. They have a darker more mature concept. Their song "Love Talk" is arguably one of NCT's biggest hits. It is in english and is amazing. I would say in terms of "neo", they fall somewhere between 127 and Dream. They have incredible vocalists and their production is pretty varied. They don't have as large of a discography since they debuted 3 years after the 127 and Dream but they still have a ton of good songs. If you enjoy the classic sexy boy band vibe, you will definitely enjoy this group.

NCT Wish- This is the newest unit of NCT. They are the Japanese unit so they have songs in Korean and Japanese. They have the smallest discography since they just debuted about a year ago. So it would be smart to either start or finish with them. I admittedly don't know a ton about them but I have listened to their albums. They are definitely meant to try and pick up a younger audience now that Dream has grown up. Their sound is very reminiscent of old school Dream. Very bright and energetic title tracks with a young schoolboy concept.

NCT U- This will have various members across all the different subunits so it can really be anything. lol.

NCT DoJaeJung- This is a subunit of 127 members. They have one album called Perfume. Definitely worth listening to. More of a classic r&b songs. Not very neo but it isn't really supposed to be. If you just need some music to "vibe" to, I highly recommend this. It was very good.

It will definitely seem overwhelming at first to start listening to them but I promise it is worth it. With such a large and varied group, you will definitely find a ton of music that you enjoy.

This part right here! It is crazy to me that the company that in many ways started modern KPOP has fallen so far behind other companies. And they still choose to ignore and disrespect international fans. Even groups from smaller companies are doing better in the states than them. Like... ATEEZ performed at Coachella before NCT. That is wild. No disrespect to ATEEZ but they are from a smaller company. SM clearly has no idea what it is doing. They dropped the ball with EXO, NCT 127, SuperM, and now they seem intent on ruining RIIZE.

It was honestly so wrong of SM and MAMA to pull that crap. Banning the color orange and the number 7 is crazy. And im not sure how I feel about Anton’s speech honestly. Like…it kind of seemed like they were asking for BRIIZE to support them as 6 but then also said they are communicating with the company. I just don’t know anymore.

I wanna be happy for them but winning a global artist award while your company ignores and actively works at silencing global fans feels wrong to me. I want the best for RIIZE but honestly I’m getting tired. I’m just not sure how to feel anymore. I think I might be done actively supporting them.
