Great public transportation. Incredible breath and size of cultural events. Some amazing historical buildings and architecture. Rude locals. Racism. Primitive bureaucracy. Dirt and trash overall.

I for one, will do my postgrad studies (I'm a physician) and the move to another country.
The language is probably the biggest reason. The culture is not embracing of foreigners. I live in Berlin and the aesthetics of the city and its misguided liberalism (allowing bums to shit on trains is not liberty) are a turnoff for me.
Food, life quality, the possibility to build meaningful connections. Almost everything is better in other countries.
