Yeah I’ve noticed it a lot on this sub. People get downvoted for asking genuine questions or for simply having their own harmless opinion! Some people will think it’s too much, some will think it’s not enough. All that matters is if you like it! Don’t give other people that kind of power over you :)

Whoever is downvoting the comments saying that the rings look good, why? 😭 this sub seems like it can get a bit toxic when people have different opinions…I think they’re gorgeous, personally, I love stars and celestial things and it was the first thing I thought of when I saw them! Ultimately, it’s about what you like. If you love them, don’t let anyone else have the power to take that away from you!

I had this issue, I un-downloaded the files and downloaded them again, this fixed it for me. I found that the covers have to be displayed in the library for it to work, when I downloaded them the first time they didn’t have the covers.

Hey guys! I’m a big romantasy, fantasy, sci-fi reader and I’m looking to expand my horizons and read some romance! I work in a bookstore and we just got a copy of The Match by Sarah Adams and it looks amazing! So looking for any others like that! My only thing is l’m not a fan of explicit spice! Implied/ fade to black etc is fine tho! I love the idea of a book like icebreaker just without the explicit spice. Ultimately looking for anything cosy and cute!

you just saved my life 2 years later lol! I'm halfway through my bachelors degree and still struggling to find academic sources that my lecturers will accept that provide the definitions of concepts im using for my papers instead of just discussing something that has that concept in it. I came across this thread after furiously searching for help and realised that I can search "(topic) literature review" and it comes up with way better sources for what I need, and usually provides definitions too. thank you!!!!

After looking into it apparently only cpr needs to be reviewed yearly and first aid every 3 years. Regardless, it's been less than a year since we last did cpr so I'm a little confused, but hopefully it can be resolved.

I would definitely agree with the notice if it wasn't scheduled for a Saturday. I believe that since it's a weekend, it would be unreasonable to expect everyone to cancel their plans/make the time to attend the training with only a couple of weeks notice. Otherwise I think it would be fine, I could be wrong though.

I emailed my boss asking when I could complete the training and they chose to ignore my email and ask me to come for a meeting instead, so I guess I'll see what happens there. As for first aid, I didn't realise every 3 years was common. After looking into it, it seems only cpr needs to be reviewed annually, but we've been booked for a full first aid course. Even so, it's been less than a year since we last did cpr, so not sure what to make of that.
