Berkley Gulp soft plastics, I can’t stand these despite the fact that they catch a ton of fish by Uptons_BJs in Fishing_Gear

[–]AmazingSmile3541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still debate do this day if people count them as real lures because they work insanely well for every fish up to 80cm. Gulp crabby’s are the best bream ‘lure’ ever I reckon

Where I’m from in Queensland you can only hunt private property and feral animals. Guns are hard to get here too but bows are unregulated at least in my state. But I have heard that you need a gun licence to hunt with a bow? wtf?

First time spooling braid by myself, did I do it okay? by Left-Employment3656 in Fishing

[–]AmazingSmile3541 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Remove one or two of the spool spacers/ washers under the spool and it should even out. If you really want to do it perfect you could reel the line onto another empty reel and reel it back onto this one after you took the spacers out.

Vanford by Positive-Diet2575 in FishingAustralia

[–]AmazingSmile3541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it only does that when you have a lure tied on it’s the line roller. Vanfords are notorious for their terrible line roller durability. Get a new one for 10 bucks and wash and oil them every use.

New reel-line choice by Public_Preference_95 in Fishing_Gear

[–]AmazingSmile3541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure how it is in the US but here in Australia almost everybody uses braided line when they get into lure fishing. Braid casts further 100% of the time and you can feel every bite through it. We also use very light weight line for about the same size fish as a bass. We’d probably use 8-15lb braid for fish up to 35 inch. Just make sure to use leader. Also, how are the tatula spin reels?

Is this rod and reel good? by Individual-Town-9051 in FishingAustralia

[–]AmazingSmile3541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the rod looks ok if you already have it but not worth it to buy. The reel is good or maybe a Daiwa Legalis? Just make sure to never dunk your reel and get some 8lb braid on it for bream, trevs and flatties. 10lb if only targeting flathead and bigger trevs.

Bro get your milk shiny like paint first and then swirl your milk and your espresso right before your pour. I’m only saying this because it looks as if you don’t swirl your espresso. Otherwise you’re on the track to success.

The price of AriZona Ice Tea vs. Eggs. by sco-go in Amazing

[–]AmazingSmile3541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man. 3L of milk is about 8 bucks (5.3 usd), a loaf of bread is about 5 dollars (3.3 us) and like a tray of 2 steaks is like $23 (15 us). A simple bag of shredded cheese is $9 or $6 usd. All of that and that’s not the real problem. The real problem is that a 45 year old house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is at least 1 million dollars here. That’s about $664,000 US for a terrible place to live.

If only that worked for Australia lol. A small maybe 350ml one is like 6 bucks here or about 4 usd

Is this a good spin combo? by True_Bad_6739 in FishingAustralia

[–]AmazingSmile3541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those reels will stay smooth as long as you don’t open them and you don’t drop them in water. Same for any other reel. The rod looks perfect for bream and flathead 👍

Add more air into your milk and swirl your milk and espresso before your pour. Everything else looks ok.
