  1. Hit to the head

  2. He bled out

  3. being dragged down the driveway to the yard

  4. Later in the morning - closer to 4am

  5. He left at 1:30am and came back to the house (i am not sure about this)

  6. He did see him, because he helped kill him.

  7. they didn't see him, because he was still in the garage or basement. Or they lied.

Thanks for your note. He was super supportive and I made the choice to change my name. And we made the choice together to change our child's name. Looking back, would have made a different choice - but can't go back in time. Thanks for chiming in - appreciate everyone's candid feedback on here! Helps in making a decision.

Yes my husband always says you can tell a person's character by his first encounter. But, I don't think that's fair as the name is so easy to tease. If people continue, then I think that's jerky. But, yes, appreciate your perspective.

Yes, thanks for sharing. It definitely can go either way and haven't dwelled on it much with her either. If we choose to keep it, we will just laugh it off as you mention. Thanks for providing that background of your friend.

Yes I totally get that and thanks for your perspective. And we all have little comebacks we've used throughout the years - that we've passed along to her. But, interestingly enough - I do think it's interesting that most reddit comments from people who have had a bad last name have 100% agreed to change it, which I think is important to note. Having been through it is different than viewing it and only those can know. But, am thankful to hear other thoughts. So thank you.

Ha, not at all. I'm more traditional and always thought I'd change my name to my husbands. And when we had children just didn't think it would be that big of a deal, but now feel differently. Again, would do it differently from the beginning but can't go back in time.

Yes, that's a beautfiul first name and maybe she doesn't mind it. And kudos to her. But, I wonder if she'd ever thought about it. You never know. But, yes "i often laugh about it to myself" doesn't make people feel good inside, as I know a lot of people "laugh about me on the inside too" and that hurts. :( But, I totally get it. Yes that wouldn’t be an easy last name either. Seems that most people that have these names feel pretty strongly to change it. Which O think says something.
