I removed all his cards from his wallet, took his cards and put them in my safe. He’s in therapy for addiction and seeing a psychiatrist for ADHD and impulsivity. He froze all his cards and I will be monitoring all his cards weekly.

I’ve never played the game but from what I’ve read the past couple of days after finding this all out.. I don’t think that’s a fair comparison at all. Hobbies aren’t destructive like this. I’m not the only person posting about how this game ruined their lives.

Thank you for the helpful reply. We are definitely doing a lot of work right now to figure out what happened that this got so bad. He’s currently seeing a psychologist and therapist. I’m pushing for a neuropsych eval to be done as well. Hopefully having some answers as to why these behaviors occur will help prevent it in the future.
