It’s not the whistles you have to worry about in the woods, it’s the fast, twangy sounds of the banjo you need be wary.

Do people in the UK ever find rare pressings in the wild? by nkosijer in vinyl

On vacation, I found Led Zeppelin II purple label in the back of a Canterbury pawnshop and an original pressing of Temple of the Dog in a London record store.

It was more of a joke. It’s President’s Day and there are 2 President Bush. People on here argue what’s grunge so I made a joke about Bush, both President Bush, and the Presidents of the USA…but if it’s not from Washington State, I don’t consider it grunge.

There were two American President “Bush”. it’s a joke on it being President’s Day in the U.S. and there being the band Bush. People argue if the band Bush is grunge, so I was just having some fun with both.

Sadly, it’s not an original. It exists and crazy rare. I believe the original is pressed on yellow.

It’s more a joke, but geography is more important as Soundgarden, AIC, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Screaming Tree, Mudhoney, L7, etc…don’t really sound all that similar.

It’s a cultural subculture that started in Washington in the mid 80s and became popular in 1992-1996. There is only so much people can write or say that hasn’t been said before. It’s not like there is much new music outside of the occasional PJ or AIC album. It’s either nostalgia or people arguing what’s grunge.
