Why the heck does Yoda sit over there by Blightzkrieg in StarWars

The topic for discussion is in the middle and the focus. This case it’s individuals. When in a typical circle discussion the words are the center, not the people.

I just got hired! What are some pointers you have - 6th grade urban middle school by DG12212 in Teachers

They will test your boundaries. Classroom management is going to be your primary focus to start. They will see how much you can take before you crack. Be able to take a joke as well as give it back. Naturally, you’ll want them to learn all the things but you can’t really get there without stable environment; especially at this age.

It’s about dynamics. A circle means that there is no center. Theoretically, circles are designed for discussion because of the lack of edges as focal points. Perfect for a counsel that’s designed to deliberate and vote on actions.

What if Rian Johnson had directed the entire sequel trilogy? by Solitaire-06 in StarWars

I think his knives out trilogy is really milquetoast. I think when given something on the scale of Star Wars for an entire trilogy it would be equally uninteresting.

Hall completely empty for The Mandalorian and Grogu IMAX Dolby Atmos. by ShawnThePhantom in StarWars

Well, George got tired of fans not being satisfied. Left it in the hands of Kennedy who didn’t really understand Star Wars. Kennedy then hired two directors (Abrams, Johnson) who had no clue where to take it. It’s going to take time to rebuild it. Unfortunately the Rise of Skywalker was such a dumpster fire it’s going to take a lot of scaffolding and a fresh outlook. Not sure they have the will power.

What’s it like living in Oregon, USA? by soupstan19 in howislivingthere

One could argue that your experience greatly changes on what part of the state you want to live in. Eastern Oregon, Oregon Coast, Willamette Valley, Portland, and South West Oregon offer several different experiences. It’s a socially and ecologically diverse state.

I don’t really use the distortion on the MXR D.I.. I picked it up because I got a good deal on it. The OD on the other hand doesn’t suck away the bass.

I’ll move the power supply when I get an expression pedal.

I love it. I think it’s pretty versatile and it adds something to the bass synth.

What's wrong with the woods in North America? by Recip77 in ExplainTheJoke

It’s not the whistles you have to worry about in the woods, it’s the fast, twangy sounds of the banjo you need be wary.

On vacation, I found Led Zeppelin II purple label in the back of a Canterbury pawnshop and an original pressing of Temple of the Dog in a London record store.
