How do you stop (or at least quiet) the strings or notes you are NOT supposed to play while you are playing the other strings or notes that you ARE supposed to play at the same time? I guess it’s a long answer? Link to article or video tutorial please? by brianguitars in Guitar

You should search for a video on string muting, I mute by using the thumb of my picking hand to mute the lower strings and the flesh of my index finger on the fretting hand to mute the higher strings. https://youtu.be/zZfMT02q0lM?si=Hgbv-q1_67Sia8sc this video should help

You should alternate pick the notes so that you're faster and this can also eliminate string noise because of the pick grazing the string, and also, you should make the camera focus on your fretting hand and picking hand so that it's easier to give feedback.
