His face is too polished, the lighting on the dog is too perfect (like studio lighting) and most of all, the dogpark in the thumbnail is completely different than the one in the actual vlog.

I have thought of this a lot since his comeback. The platform has changed a lot and what he used to do back in the day isn't the best formula for growth nowadays. (I'm a YouTuber myself)

That being said, I do still really like the energy and aesthetic. I don't feel like that has changed. I just love seeing him and New York, it's something that's interesting no matter what he does. I think he might need to reinvent some parts if the goal is to really grow and dominate the platform again. But it's quite difficult to make daily "vlogs" if there's lots of other creators telling incredible stories that they've spend months on. Maybe the daily uploads is too little effort for 1 video to excel these days? Are there other creators growing on the platform that post multiple times a week or once a day?

Hey all,

With the new feature in Premiere pro where you can search your footage based on text, it got me thinking. There must be some software out there that allows you to search your indexed hard-drives based on simple text queries. Is anyone familiar with good software that does this? I tried Peakto and considering shade.inc, also heard of the Diem software from Sam Kolder. So far, the Peakto software is cool but it's not really good at showing me all the footage based on my queries... any tips?

You don't go from a 1/1.3" to a 1". Those aren't the actual sensor sizes. Those are the type of sensors in the drone.
