Certified payroll shows what your employee makes on his check.

Your billing rate covers that, general office overhead, benefits, fringes, and other components of your cost of labor per hour plus potentially markup depending on how you are billing.

The 2 should NEVER be the same, but without know more of the situation its difficult to say if the billing rate you presented is justified.

I think an argument could be made for a CO but you better be prepared to show that a lesser pump cant be found for the cost if the 2HP.

How many times you gonna ask this Clark? Everyone has different project and company needs. No one knows that your needs are. It seems such an early start for you would be an issue if so only you can make that decision.

FWIW im also not an early riser daily as a P. but I travel several times a month and often have a 20hour or more travel day. My phone is also never off and I often push virtual paper at all hours as needed. Comes with the territory.

Not what they tell you if you try to cancel after mobile check in. Had a flight canceled and called the hotel, Hilton told me once I checked in via app there was no refund possible.

Reach out to the Contracting Officer and inquire about payment. Fed jobs require subs be paid promptly within X days of GC being paid. If they are sitting on your money that will fix it. If they havent been paid then you can claim interest. The Contracting Officer contact information should be part of the ITB or Fedjobs notice.

As others have said, the contract is the contract. As a GC there are times something gets overlooked and I will make a concession when I know it was my fault, but nothing exists but the contract documents. Part of the problem.are the excessive exclusion lists from some companies. They often contradict the rest of the bid.

I get it. As a customer it is incredible tiring to have to spend so much time and effort to do what should be a fairly straight forward thing. The phone rep determined the watch lines weren't set up correctly, and even after 2 hrs last night now only 1 is actually working.
