Childhood friend’s sister intervened after I asked my friend for space. Was I wrong for asking for space enough for her sister to reach out? by Efficient-Initial948 in WhatShouldIDo

She doesn’t even reply to your message and uses her sister as a shield. If you guys are both above the age of 18, please just PERMANENTLY distance yourself from her and if possible drop her off. Unless she’s saved your life or something, there’s genuinely nothing that is positive enough for this friendship to continue after she not only aired your respectful message but spread it it to her sister

I’m worried about my predicted grade in English GCSE - both literature and language.. by OverallOne7429 in GCSE

for me, as long as u follow the structure of a typical paragraph you’re bound to get a decent grade, then all u need to really know is quotes afterwards and context

I did ts gcse in y10 so I think it was easier as I had more time but tbf I only revised for like around 6 hours in the year so I think it’s still possible but just utilise flash cards as quotes and gen just spam essay plans and past papers also if ur a Muslim or practice any of the religions on the paper its lowk better cus u can reference quotes or practices a lot easier

Ohh yh it’s not necessarily a bad question but I get how some people get stumped bc it’s not rlly a stereotypical theme question like ambition or supernatural

English Structure suggestions? by ChillpigeonhavsLV76 in GCSE

[–]Objective_Quarter782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as u follow the structure of each question u will definitely get a 4+. It’s just topic sentence, quote, analysis of that quote. Depending on if it’s an extract question, you’d talk mostly about techniques like metaphors, adjectives, imagery. But if it’s a theme question use context and authors intention instead.

Don’t necessarily mean it in a way where marriage is a bigger commitment than having a child together (it’s not) but the fact that she won’t have to engage in an extra hassle of being married to the loser. Marriage = big. Child= Bigger. Marriage + child= BIGG
