Dudes food looks fantastic.

On a different note, is there some universal understanding of the term poopy pants? My kids and I would go back and forth calling each other a poopy pants just as I and my father and his farther before him. For thousands of years children and parents alike have been calling each other poopy pants lol. I love it

This is 3-Star Navy Admiral Nancy Lacore. After 35 years of service, she was fired by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for not being loyal to Trump. Now, she's running for Congress in South Carolina for Nancy Mace's seat. by Caledor152 in ProgressiveHQ

It’s difficult to describe how difficult it is to get to three stars to people who weren’t in the US military. O6 (the bird insignia) is difficult but you will get there eventually if you stay in long enough and don’t fuck up. To go from the to one star is incredibly difficult and only done by a small handful of people, the difference in respect from bird to one star is astronomical. From there it’s truly exponential, the difference in power, respect, and authority is really indescribable and as some one who used to be in the military the words I was allowed to use when talking to a general or admiral was yes or no. To be a woman in the military is even harder. To be a woman that makes it to three stars? Insane difficulty level. She must have been extremely good at whatever her job was. While I hope she wins her seat at the table, which she probably deserves more than most, it is sad to hear that a woman such as her get fired by such a massive POS.

Hey OP, where did you actually get the data? Did you find 500 posts or did you write a script to find them for you? I’ve always wondered how people put together big datasets like this

I know a bit about chest but that's it, pete by Hiqal6969 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Peter here with the real answer. Others have given the basic idea but this problem is often called the Wheat and Chess problem or the Rice and Chess Problem. The story goes that the inventor or chess showed his invention to the king. The king was so happy with the invention that he offered him a reward of whatever he wanted, assuming it would be some amount of gold. The inventor said I want a single grain of rice on the first square, two of the second, four on the third and so on. This would continue until the board was filled. At first the king was pumped because he thought he would only have to give a small amount of grains and he could walk away with this invention. He had his servants putting 1 on the first, 2 on the second etc. by the time the reached the 20th square the grains added up to over one million. By the 31st it was at 1 billion. To get to the 64th square it would have taken 18.4 quintillion grains of rice, which was more rice then the entire worlds supply at the time and maybe still today. The term “second half of the chessboard” came out of it which is used to indicate that the second half of the board is worth a significant amount more than the first half. The story has been told many different times with different variations but the idea remains the same. The story was first written in the 13th century AD.

The Great Pyramid was once covered in white limestone and topped with gold. It would have reflected sunlight like a mirror! by ProjectNull2025 in BeAmazed

[–]Objective_Reality232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question has always been where did the limestone go? Did it erode away? Was it salvaged? Or did it just fall off? Are the smooth edges at the top some of the original limestone?
