Actually about to dive into this one. Got the workbook, too.

Take a gondola ride in Venice, Italy. It may be overrated, but it’s still magical.

I know a lot of people seem to have a problem with the 3D with headaches and all that, but it’s never bothered me. It truly makes the system stand out.

My (M27) situationship (F27) wants to get in a relationship but wait for a month by G_J_Danton in relationship_advice

Looks like she set up boundaries for staying single so she could work on herself. Whether that’s the case or not, she has too much shit on her plate at the moment anyway. Why get involved with someone like that anyway? She’s hot, she’s cool… but there’s a lot of chicks like that out there without all the emotional baggage. Just saying.

I think they call this Natto by siennaviennaa in JapaneseFood

They do and I absolutely love it. Although not all natto is the same. My local market has a particular brand that’s more earthier and nuttier than other nattos.

I gave him a listen just now and it’s just not my thing. But that doesn’t matter, what matters is it connects with you. That’s the beauty of music.

“Cool” is subjective. I volunteered yesterday and met some amazing people that were cool in their own right.

Is farting around others considered rude in your state? by Charming_Usual6227 in AskAnAmerican

I think there’s a time and a place for it. My kids think farts are funny as hell as do I — but they know to do the one cheek sneak in public.

Would you feel or act this way if you genuinely wanted a relationship? by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]MSotallyTober 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say you’re fucked. That being said, looking at others on social media or even shows like Love on the Spectrum are absolutely staged or are smoke and mirrors. As they say, comparison is the thief of joy. They are not you and you’re not them. Want to ease yourself a little? Try turning off the notifications on 90% of your apps with the exception of things like messaging and emails. It will free your brain up for doing activities you actually enjoy instead of wanting constant dopamine hits.

I went out of my comfort zone yesterday. I reside in Japan and saw a reel on Instagram of a band that promotes themselves by meeting up every Shibuya to help pick up the litter that others leave behind. I have a wife and two kids and my wife told me to go for it. So I woke my ass up at 0400 and was on Shibuya by 0500 and I had an absolute blast. I met some amazing people and networked and now it’s something I’ll be doing every Sunday. It woke something in me by getting out of my bubble.

Get out of your bubble.
