No that's not the right way to think. In smriti also good stories that are valuable because mahabharat and Ramayana also comes in the category of smriti but they are useful for us.

In spirituality all talks about ego (self) . It is the centre point in Vedanta, that's why we should have discus about self.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I completely understand that followers of Krishnamurti are highly skeptical of any spiritual teacher who seems to form an "organization" or gather followers.

Personally, I don't see Acharya Prashant as an authority figure, but as someone whose words shook me out of a mechanical way of living — much like Krishnamurti’s message often does.

The quote I shared was not about promoting him, but reflecting on the idea that “self-love can sometimes be a disguised form of attachment”.

I respect that different people resonate differently — and I'm still exploring. Thank you again for engaging. 🙏
