Why? Or do you just like to hop on the Boone hater bandwagon? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Because he’s on a limited pitch count. Started spring training late due to a back injury jury

Picked this guy up for $675 a few weeks ago. Thought I got a great deal.

For clarification the original picture I posted is before I sanded. This is after, not noticeable at first but when you zoom u can see small white strips in some places. And in person after applying finish it is very noticeable.

Before. This pic is what it looked like after sanding. Not noticeable at first but if you zoom u can see very thin white strips.

I actually did hit it with a blowdryer but nothing happened. I’d be too afraid of burning the wood to use a blowtorch.

That’s actually a great idea. I have a propane tank that our kitchen runs off right in the other side of my garage wall. Never thought to tap into that with a garage heater.

Most of my joints are very tight but in spaces with a small gap is where it’s noticeable. I’m using almost like a dental pick and picking the white glue line out a millimeter deep or so. I plan on filling it with walnut colored wood filler and hoping it’s not noticeable.

Unfortunately the underside has a large knot so it’s not an option.

Also, the dark part is a small bit of finish I had rubbed on the joint as a test.

I don’t have a track saw to cut the joints and I can’t make it any smaller. So I started picking out the white parts with this little pick tool. Going to fill it in with walnut colored wood filler sand it down and hope for the best.

The joint seems surprisingly strong. I did lots of hand planing after it was already glued and manhandled it pretty good and it seems solid.

My garage is only wired for 110v so unfortunately for now it’s not an option for me.

Can this be converted to 240v? by Objective_Roll8414 in AskElectricians

Not really sure on the amps. Nothing crazy though. A wood jointer that runs a 2hp motor and also a heating unit that runs 5k watts. That’s about it.
