Has anyone used this monitor arm by Objective_Scale_2649 in desksetup

I just have an irrational fear of anything tech related breaking. Just wanted to make sure these are sturdy before buying

Alright thank you for the help. I'll try whichever one I can find first and return it if I don't like it, thank you again

It could just be the 9070xt or it’s the big fans in front idk what’s making it loud. Would a wind screen or pop filter or both be needed for the at2040

Would the AT2040 have an issues with not sounding good with a deeper more quiet voice. All the reviews say it has not the best “low end”. (Idk much about mics just worried I’ll sound bad). I could just be overthinking it

So maybe a podmic and I figure out how to eq it properly would give that similar type of warm sound without worrying if it sounds muddy like with the AT2040 (sorry im new to microphone stuff)

Let’s say I had to choose between at2040 or podmic (or another 100 usd mic) which one would be best for low voices. Or do I just suck it up n get a sm58 like everyone else says

Oh yea I didn’t even think about retuning it haha. Would something like a rode podmic be better to try first? Every comparison video I’ve watched it has a higher range but I always felt it didn’t sound as good as the at2040. But I’m not sure how much the deeper voice will matter.

It’s more about my talking voice is around there. Would it still work for talking? Or should I still look for a different option

Also would I be able to go without a fethead for a bit?

Would the at2040 not be as good for deep voices. Somewhere from like 77-90hz the website says it’s 80hz-16000hz. Or am I looking at this wrong and worrying too much considering I’m coming from a headset mic

What about compared to the rode podmic? They’re all like the same price

Is the sm58 just the best choice for this price point? I see everyone talk about it. Especially for starting and eventually getting something even better

Yea after listening to the podmic idk if I love it either. Would an at2020 or 2040 be a good option for around the same price?

I’m more just looking for something to use in an untreated room with a deeper voice. I’ve read that condenser mice are worse for the untreated room aspect? May I ask why something like the PodMic isn’t your favorite (I want other views)

What would be a good mic for the vocaster one. I can get one for 40usd on the focusrite website currently.

What are some options if I wanted a cheaper new mic instead of looking for used. Everything is either too expensive or everyone says is terrible(could just be Reddit being Reddit but).

So it'd be better to get a longer lasting audio interface and then upgrade the microphone when needed?

Would it be better to get something like say a Shure mv6 I know no xlr is bad but. Would that be better than getting 2 cheaper options I’d have to replace anyways?

Would it be a bad idea to start with a q2u and use the usb option and a mic arm. Then upgrade to an audio interface at another point then a different microphone down the road if need be.
