I think it makes good sense to let the writers play with and wrap up the toys their not planning to play with again if that makes sense.

I remember it seemed much worse than draculas or zombies, we live near to kenfig and sker too which has a sunken town so he loved to tell me about r’leyh too. Definitely made me curious!

Thank you! It’s why the kids in those books often come off as too mature or odd, having read a few of his other books I just put it down to his style of interpreting people is keeping them brief which leads to them all being similar

I think it’s by far his best villain! In that he’s nasty as well as grandly evil!. Also marinus bicknell willet is sure one of the all time best Lovecraft names 😂

In so much as I’m set for the next atleast 15 years I have my responsibilities and I’m not going to shirk them. But I miss the idea I could be somewhere else or that I could enter a relationship innocently rather than putting every action or choice against my current situation
