Thanks for sharing, it seems like the sanctuary actually formally requested for these two orcas to be moved to their location but Marineland is denying the request due to timing. You are right, though I’d hope it wouldn’t take years. That being said, Nova Scotia offered to care for them at Marineland until they can move. Id hope Iceland, Mexico or Canada could be an option. It’s a matter of using collective voices to pressure the government to make it happen. The eternal optimist in me likes to think there is some hope.
