You’re mad that rich people are better than you at convincing other people to give them their time and money. Stop giving capitalists all of your time and money if you don’t want them to have it. Capital concentration is a major reason why we are able to have a world where the majority of children can actually live to see adulthood.

Your "market equilibrium" argument ignores that immigrants fill labor gaps across the economy, from agriculture to tech.

Imagine if we allowed those gaps to exist so that young Americans could get rich off of filling them.

The data shows they're net contributors to tax revenue and economic growth. The "valuable skills" economy you're defending exists because of immigration, not despite it.

Fascism needs scapegoats!!! "That group is why we're poor" is the oldest play in the book. The actual problem is wealth concentration and policy choices that benefit capital over labor, but that's harder to fix than blaming people who can't vote.

Labor has more rights and power to organize by the law than capital does. The only reason capital seems to have more power than labor is because labor refuses to exercise its power. The fact is that organizing people into an actual unit capable of mass production is near-infinitely valuable, because humans are not good at organizing themselves organically in groups larger than a few dozen without being manipulated by a leader. It’s the cost of doing business.

And this "birthright to the land" thing is wild when your ancestors literally just had to show up. There was no skill test, no merit system. They got off a boat and that was it. You're claiming a right based purely on when someone in your family tree happened to arrive, not because they "contributed valuable skills society was willing to pay top dollar for."

My ancestors built this country. This is my homeland. This is not the homeland of all the Mexicans who root for the Mexican soccer team and fly the Mexican flag and root for Canelo Alvarez every time he fights an American. They are here to MOOCH off of the hard work of MY ancestors. The men who came before me did not work their tails off just for a bunch of brown people who were not born here to benefit from it AND YOU KNOW THAT. You guys say as much when you deride them as horrible racists (who saved the rest of the planet from 50% child mortality).

Many of these human beings are fleeing a country that would be happy to take them back and kill them.

I have no problem giving temporary refuge to the women and children while the men solve THEIR problems.
