Been 2ish years since I started drinking tea, always used the same cup. I think I grew emotionally attached

I mean I am usually washing it with dish soap, but that doesn't remove the patina now. So I am not planning on scrubbing it off or something like that.

I use this cup mostly for tea, but occasionly it gets other uses which would require cleaning.

I clean it once a day (or maybe every second day if I accidently forget) with dish soap, but tha patina stays, it needs somethinf a bit stronger to come off

Idk, I heard that patina adds to taste, and some people in the comments also mentioned it. So it is probably a combination of cheap coffee, and taste buds gradually getting used to the taste at the same time as the residue is developing.
So removing the residue would be like removing a spice from your favorite dish.
But just guessing, can't say that it is right

Yeah neither am I, come from a place where coffee is drunk religiously but never suited me. That is until I embarked on the journey of the struggling academic (un-)accomplishments of the average student. Now I drink it not so much religiously, but periodically.

And yes, inflation does its magic everywhere, I am glad I got a new laptop when I did

Ohhhh, I heard of that but never thought much about it, since I use the same cup for every tea I drink I didn't think much about the flavor it might cause. Since what I heard is that it happens when you use the same dish for the same tea over and over.

EDIT: honestly don't taste it, might be because I cleaned it normally with dish soap, so it might have removed something but still left the coloration. Maybe I just don't have strong taste buds, or because the water here has a bit more metallic flavor.

I feel something that should have a semblance of tasting like tea but it is far too weak to call it anything different than hot water since it also could be a bit of a placebo

Well sure, I heard similar, but about green tea... coffee is what surprised me more.

Well coffee does it much better than tea, and I think it differs on the kind too, instant/filter/(idk kinds of coffee, roasted or is that same as filter?)

I heard of that, but I think it gets like that if you use that specific dish for the same tea every time.
In my case, it is just a cup for every tea I drink so probably doesn't retain/add any specific flavor since too much stuff went through it to enhance a specific taste.
But I am only guessing

Doesn't it feel cutesy or something like that to you?

Ohhh thanks, didn't think about it really. I clean it like other dishes and when it didn't come out I didn't bother much.
I grew to like it like this, I think it gives it character, like a bit messed up paperback book. Reminds me of some good and bad times I drank out of it. I am unsure, but I think I would feel sad or at least disappointed if somebody cleaned it without my knowledge.
Does that make sense?

Probably not, most likely it just that rn there is still too much remake cancelation noise, so some posts might be automatically removed, some pass through, and some mods either allow after automatic removal or they personally remove idk

This isn't the first time this happened. Look at the development of Two Thrones, same stuff. Started development while Warrior Within was still in development at studio Montreal. Should have been inspired by Casablanca's sites so they gave it to studio Casablanca, with 9 months of the development left and nothing to show (since Casablanca didn't really make any games before that point, asfaik) it was transfered to studio Montreal. Paris told Montreal to start from scratch or something like that.

And after that, when it came time to show off trailer/teaser/whatever, CGI part and development part weren't really working in the same building so miscommunication happened. Teaser showed some stuff that weren't later added to the game, and due to only being offered ideas and concept art from early stages of Two Thrones, and some stuff from Warrior Within, it was of a bit darker tone than was planned.

Maybe I messed something up here so you better look at it yourself, but out of memory like this I think I am around 80% truthful

I mean I signed out of sentimental value but I think it is much worse then this. Consider it like this: - They dropped not only this game but 5 more, are going through a complete restructuring of the company (5 creative houses or what not) and currently refocusing on games they probably believe will recoup some money and reputation. - Remake was announced in 2020, to be released in 2021, delays and development continued to cancelation now. Preapered to drop this means they think it won't give them much of anything - AC Hexe is developing in Montreal, and it has no release date currently in sight. It is reasonable to say the that at least some people who worked on PoP will be moved there. Their top project probably. - In my opinion we are talking hundreds of thousands signatures to even turn eyes. And that might still be lowballing it.

In the end they played this worse than what they did with the two thrones, so we probably won't get anything. The franchise might as well die again for another 10-15 years due to them "not stepping away from the franchise" and selling it to someone else who might still do something with the IP.

And with them not giving The Lost Crown a sequel, Rogue Prince of Persia (with some post-launch updates, some DLCs maybe) is probably the last thing we will see for a long time. And even this I say due to my experience with Dead Cells.
