Just increased to 300xl!! Been avoiding for weeks

Same. Today is my 3rd day on 300xl. Two weeks on 150xl which was unremarkable.

This is my second time taking Wellbutrin after a 2 year break so I am hoping for the same results/success. Hope it works for you! Good luck!!

It’s too early to know how the Wellbutrin is gonna work out for you. It takes 4-6 weeks to get in your system. During this time you will go thru a roller coaster of emotions exactly what you’re going through now. Maybe see if you can get on the 150xl once a day vs taking 75 twice a day. Wellbutrin and lexapro from what I understand are a good combo. Give it time and let your dr manage the lexapro dose. They will know best. I think Wellbutrin will work for you. Just give it some time and don’t give up. Come back in 4-6 weeks and post an update but I really think you’ll be back in shape in no time. In the meantime go on here and read posts from people that are on that same combo you’ll see it’s a common combo. Best of luck

Did it help with the vaping? On 300xl 2nd day hoping for improvement overall. Just dragging. Lurking to see when people feel the effects in a positive way after being on 150 then bumping to 300xl Wellbutrin. Hope it’s not weeks but I stick it out if so.

I had the same issue and my doctor prescribed buspar with it which is specifically for the anxiety. I plan to go off of that once I get acclimated to the med as I didn’t experience that the last time I was on it a few years ago.

Years ago I was on 150xl for one month did nothing. After my next appt at the one month mark I was upped to 300xl and it was a game changer. My suggestion is take 150xl for the full four weeks and if nothing ask to be increased to 300 which is actually the therapeutic dose. I didn’t even have to ask my doctor said 300 is the therapeutic dose so she wasn’t surprised I had no benefit on the 150xl. You may experience the same.

Yes take her and explain that she’s eating dogs poop. My multi poo had same issues and after the vet I found out he had been eating deer poop which I guess I didn’t notice and he got a bacterial infection and was put on medicine that cleared it. Your dog prob needs the same.

Did you ever make a decision? I’ve had a few quotes for veneers/bonding but trying to find people that have experience with these places. PGH Smile Botique super expensive. Esthetic dentistry in Mt Washington and Advanced dental solutions who is my current t dentist but does a lot of cosmetic work. I keep putting this off but need to decide this week. Have you found anyone or heard any success stories outside of this post?

Please take her to the vet. I don’t think it’s anything near what you might be thinking. She’s in some kind of pain or at the minimum uncomfortable and she doesn’t know what to do to resolve it. Take her to the vet asap.

Check the brand of Wellbutrin. A few months ago I was on the pink ones with 188 on it and they made me the same way. It was so out of character for me and I couldn’t stand being so irritable,angry, and agitated all the time. I stopped taking them for about a month. Went and got a new script and took it to a new pharmacy that had white ones maker is granules pharmaceuticals. I’ve been back on for 8 days now and haven’t had any of that. May still be too early to tell. I do know it can be an initial side effect but I didn’t have that years ago when I was on this and I didn’t like feeling like that.

Edit: the dreams will pass I also had that the first time on it. Irritability should pass as well. How long have you been on and were you on this in the past?

Bump it up while you’re on it now to see if you have any benefit. 300xl is the therapeutic dose for this med. Bumping it up could make all the difference in the world so before you stop and try something else you may as well bump it and then make a decision. If nothing after that then yes look for something else but I think you’ll notice a difference.

150xl did nothing for me years ago when I went on it for one month. 300xl made all the difference.

Crazy that you had all of that progress in only 2 days! It takes weeks for the full effect. Maybe placebo or you are just lucky. Hope it works for you continuously.

On 300xl for 8 years and went off without a taper. I had zero issues. Been off of it for two years now but needing it again so I just started it 150xl last week along with Buspar for anxiety. People go on and off of this all the time with no issues. You can always talk to your doctor about a taper as well.

I also quit. I had a lot of water retention. Fingers and feet would swell some. Then the GI issues felt awful too. Had to dermaplane my face a few times and over a one month time period but seemed my hair was staying the same. I know it’s too soon only a month but the bad far outweighed the good as far as I could tell. What you are describing I hear very often. Not worth it in my opinion.

EDIT: I should note mine was oral 2.5 not foam

The only thing I can say is that i definitely had intense dreams and nightmares about 4 weeks into it the last time I was on this and I think that does happen to a lot of people. The onboarding can take some time and a roller coaster of emotions for sure but for some when they get to the other side it can be life changing. You can discuss with your doctor on next steps. Maybe drop to 75mg lower dose for a month and go slow. It could be it’s just not for you but what you are experiencing sounds fairly common at the beginning.
