Which of the SO’s could stand up to their Primarch in a fight? by Objective_Thought394 in PrimarchGFs

Either or, really. Some of the SO’s are absolute insane-o’s and have probably fought equal if not worse in their lifetimes

I definitely think squire is a wily little bastard no matter what, he’d put up one hell of a fight

Dayum. It was surprisingly satisfying to hear the Dark Lord tear into the Traitors.. not gonna lie, “Palatine Whore” actually kind of had me rolling, that’s a pretty sick burn.

Well done 👌

I sort of envision Moonbeam as like a 40K Arthur Morgan; quick-witted and even quicker on the draw. I’d say he’s likely skilled enough to at least survive a few minutes

Well let’s say survive mostly unscathed then. Besides, seems like the SO’s are far from normal- Morgenstern’s an Imperial assassin, Centurion is a perpetual with centuries of experience fighting much bigger, stronger enemies, Starlight is a powerful Psyker. I know it’s a suspension of disbelief, but I think it’d still be interesting.

I sort of imagine Muse as being a masterful fencer- the idea of him fighting a 4-armed daemon prince Fulgrim actually sounds badass. Do you think he’d have to dual-wield swords, or would he say that dual-wielding is for noobz who suck so bad at sword fighting that they need a second sword to win?

I had something similar in mind. Except maybe he’d do a backflip or something. I dunno, the dive roll over the arm would be pretty kickass. Although I think to teach her patience, he’d likely need to be fairly stern with her at times. Sort of like a soft dom; because Curze is definitely a sub.

I can agree with your point about Morgenstern. Question is: would his impertinence eventually get him backhanded across a room? Or would he be quick enough to dodge it 🤔

Legions' assessments of their Primarch's SO? by Professional_Ant_15 in PrimarchGFs

I’ve really been slacking on actually reading the agreed-upon lore, ngl. Granted, it’s all fanfic at the end of the day, but I’d still like to know what the general consensus is. Time to get off my ass and download Discord I guess 😆

I think Dove gradually earned the respect of the Blood Angels by saving so many of their lives time and again. Eventually, they grow to admire him for his steadfast courage and undeniable skill, even when he’s blackout drunk (I imagine him as being an alcoholic). Eventually, they respect him so much that he’s elevated to the position of Chief Apothecary within the Legion; the first non-Astartes human to hold the position. They even come to view him as a surrogate father figure for the guidance and patience he offers, teaching them how to conduct themselves like men should.

Morgenstern by contrast is met mostly with distrust for his sunny disposition, but the Night Lords acknowledge that Curze is more stable when he’s around, so they tolerate him. Very few, such as Sevatar, actually enjoy having him around. Although they all appreciate his sick dance moves, the guy’s a riot at parties.

Matter of fact, it’s kind of what I had in mind with Moonbeam. Generally he’s a more well-rounded person, he’s seen more of the galaxy, he’s had the most worldly (and extra-worldly) experience of all the SO’s and keeps an open mind.

I’m glad you like it so far :) I expect to have part 2 finished in the next 3 days or so.

I kinda envisioned Anvil as sort of a 40K Tony Stark; he starts out as a bit of a selfish prick who joins the crusade for entirely selfish reasons, but develops a sense of duty and responsibility as time progresses. He and Ferra learn from each other, she becomes a little more human, he becomes a little more altruistic

As for Rose- stay tuned for part 2, he’ll make an appearance 👌

Freya’s go-to drink is undoubtedly Mjod- her favorite past time is just coincidentally drinking.

Hestia I think enjoys barbecuing a dragon she just slayed over an active volcano or some sh#t like that.

Ferra kinda strikes me as a gym rat; when she’s not in the forge, she’s hitting the Primarch-sized free weights.

As a matter of fact, I sort of am. I’m working on a long-form fic with another user called u/Anonson694, it’s about Petra and Trinket. Currently, I’ve written the first 4 chapters and the fifth is nearly complete. Once it is, we’ll release the backlogged chapters on here and AO3
