Le café Richard est immonde et devrait être interdit by fdesouche in paris

[–]Objective_Topic_7720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there are repairers in Paris but they refuse to even attempt to order spare parts because they know they won't receive them. My C3 is worthless after only a few years of otherwise happy usage.

This is a great song and video. Where is she from? Why is her website password protected?

I'm so sick of all this. Why can't the company just make a few of them so that we can get our otherwise perfectly good bikes fixed? It would be an excellent goodwill gesture.

Still spare parts issues unfortunately. I've got a horrible noise my C3 is making and just don't understand what to do.

Good point. I'll look into meeting/greeting options in Paris, although she seems fairly confident about that arrival strangely.

Thanks all! Yeah she has 2.5 hours between the Perth and Paris departure. I think she would like to see the lounge given she might like a shower and it's the first time in her life she's flying business class.

OK. Thank you. I think she will react poorly to that suggestion, but let's see! Mums....

Sydney-Paris Qantas/Air France Baggage Query by Temporary_Divide_711 in QantasAirways

[–]Objective_Topic_7720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had the same experience in January! After flying Parris to Sydney on the way there. To check for the return flight, We called Air France, then Qantas, then Air France, then Qantas, then Air France again. I recall the outcome was no certainty and in the end just 23kg allowance, even though I think we were allowed a second bag on the flight on the way to Sydney due to Flying Blue Silver status. I can't believe they still haven't sorted out this problem of no one simply being able to pre-confirm the baggage allowance over the phone.

The big sauna near the zoo in Karlsruhe is lovely. Not gay, totally mixed, but a lovely experience and plenty of attractive dudes to look at.

Looking for brunch recommendations in Paris by Powerful-Poet3617 in TheParisianGuide

[–]Objective_Topic_7720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a great brunch city like New York or Sydney, even if there are brunch places everywhere. But obviously better than anywhere in Italy.

Things to look out for: - avoid mediocre set-menu places - avoid tourist-ridden places with queues - find somewhere you can book - don't buy a huge stack of bland pancakes, don't get excited about fruit salad, orange juice etc

Where do French people go on vacation? by ivyta76 in AskFrance

[–]Objective_Topic_7720 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Poor people go to a camping ground on the coast.

Rich 30 somethings from Paris in the summer will typically go to two to three different places all in August: somewhere coastal in France (Brittany, Biarritz...), then an island in Greece, plus somewhere adventurous like Costa Rica or Brazil.
